Couldn't put it off for very long! NEEDED to get the fender eliminator install taken care of on my 2020 Yamaha R1 so I could free up that gorgeous rear end. TST Industries sent out their Elite-1 fender eliminator / tail tidy to get the job done. I've been using TST stuff for almost 7 years now and the quality is top notch. I did the same eliminator on my 2017 Yamaha R6 which, as you know, as a very similar tail and without a doubt, it's the best fender eliminator you can install on your bike. Bro be careful. I just bought a 2020 R1 Raven and they havent been able to unlock the ECU yet. The 2020 ECU is different from the 2015-2019. So swapping exaust ur R1 wont be running in the best way it should. So now i have a damn 2020 R1 just sitting in my damn garage 😡😡😡😡

I got a TST fender delete for my 2019 zx6 with the integrated taillight and it’s fire. So easy to install and looks amazing. I keep returning to there site to see what they make next. I wish it was a little more tucked under the fender but it keeps the cops off me here in California. The only one I recommend.
I had my license plate mounted just like you did at 8:04 and it looks soooo clean, but I almost got ticketed for it, and even reached out to a local attorney who specializes on traffic offenses and she said that if I do get ticketed for it there's absolutely no way to fight it. It is definitely not legal here in Texas, but usually they cops don't care. After that I moved it up to below my rear light. Doesn't look as nice (looks alright though as it's a very minimalist mounting bracket) but I won't get ticketed for it now.
I'm sure glad I found your channel, lots of good useful information. I too have a 2020 R1 I'm going to do sprocket change soon and flash.

Evotech performance makes some of the nicer billet aluminum tail tidy’s vs a stamped steel plate. Plus their billet aluminum are made hollow to run wires through. No wires visible.

It's to bad they never make enough of them. Been trying to get one for months now. So it's either a really hot item or not many people buy it. They usually keep stock. Never had a problem getting anything for any of my other bikes from them.
In Scotland our plate has to be fully visible this is way cooler

I actually hope you so the taylormade exhaust for the r1, i have it on my 2016 r1 and really cleans up the bike and adds some carbon fibre to the under body
Surprised JL Designs didn't make a closeout like they did with the R6, the rest of the kit is minty though. TST always delivers.
Jl designs does make an amazing close out for the r1. I just bought it for my r1 along with integrated tail light with side lights. The closeout runs about 120$ and is adjustable.
@@chadknox6919 I guess i meant the closeout piece alone. I have JL's closeout and TST's low mounting bracket on my 18 R6 just like Brent's setup was on his 17. Both companies make killer stuff though for sure.

I've used TST for all my eliminators for tail and turn signals. I will comment and say the paint they use is trash/needs a better clear coat finish because it doesn't hold up over time.
Check out the The NRC kit on my 2020 R1. Looks much better.

I didn’t have a problem on my R6. On my R1 it was a couple years before I had it mentioned.

Kunwar Pratyush ZX10Rs are a bit too track focused for my liking, the power on that bike is too up top. I don’t have any problems with gixxers but I don’t like the headlights, just personal preference. Imo the R1 is the sexiest and I love the crossplane motor, but from what I’ve read it seems like the new CBRs are the best street litre bikes
CJCashMoneyIMVU 2017+ fireblades are really light, approaching 600cc territory. They seem to be a lot more adjacent to street riding than the R1. Also in the US the 2017+ Fireblade has depreciated heavily and can be bought new for 10k out the door. It seems like the fireblade would be the best option for street riding

Yamaha spends all the time designing the tail on this bike and making it look like a work of art and then they slap that rear fender on and take a shit on their design. I get why they do it, its just unfortunate.
Am I the only one thinking that license plate setup is illegal in 99% of the world. In all europe you would get stopped and fined for that.
