    It was a nice night mate, good to get out with you and Andy P and meet Keyg - enjoyed it very much. Too bad I couldn’t stay the extra night and share some noodles!
    Looking forward to catching up soon.

      I’ve thought about a troopy a few times!! It’s a very hard choice for me as I can only see myself in the Jimny but it’s reached its limit in my mind

    Tony I've gone from suzukis to a turbo diesel ute and i hated it was an instant regret, yes they are under powered when ya fit bigger tyres, mine has reduction gears and has been dyno tuned and it's a different animal even when loaded up towing the camper. I understand your thinking but you're the jimny channel guy 😂
    Keep up the great work bud 👍

    • @MightyOverlander
      @MightyOverlander  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hahaha thanks mate! Yeah look it’s still 12 months away. There is always the 5 door as a possible choice but I’m really concerned about the power to weight issue. That being said there are other factors that make me want a larger vehicle with access to rear seats. But still, I may come up with a workable solution!

    • @4x4ZOOK
      @4x4ZOOK 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @MightyOverlander yeah i totally understand bud, i may have sneakily taken a 5 door for a drive and was surprised didn't notice the weight difference really but did notice it seems to be better in the handling then the 3 door, your always welcome to come take mine for a spin and see the difference gearing and a tune make

    I sold my Jimny and bought a Pajero sport, boy did I get overwhelmed with all of the space! Ended up getting rid of it though as diesel was too expensive! The camping queens group has many Dmax vehicles and can’t fault them. However my sister has had a triton for tens years pulling horse floats all over with no dramas! I reckon whatever you choose you’ll be happy and more comfortable 😊

    • @MightyOverlander

      I’m tossing up between the DMax and the triton. It’s still a year away at this stage but I’ll be documenting the journey either way

    I swear I must bump into you once a month... would be awesome to go out for a trip before you swap out the Jimny. FYI: Cook the mi goreng with a stock cube and leave about two tbsp of water/stock in the noodles when you drain it, that's my go to method...

    I am using Yokohama 215/75R 15 AT with airpressure of 28 in all tyres in Jimny 5 door in India. There is no other alteration done in vehicle apart tyres. I took the vehicle on the highway & hills for the first time & found the car was Jerky on Road whereas it was settling properly while passing through path holes or rough terrain on Slow Speeds. The vehicle was so moving that I had to make a stop to check the fitment of the nuts on the wheels.
    As a driver I felt a lot of body roll on corners in hills & was afraid as if the vehicle may get unstable on corners. I was driving solo & without any luggage.
    Can you pl suggest solution to this ... should I reduce the tyre pressure further from 28.

    • @MightyOverlander
      @MightyOverlander  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Do not reduce your tyre pressure. You’ll need to keep them at 38psi for highway driving. If your loading the car up at all you’ll need to upgrade your suspension and get a GMV upgrade whilst you’re at it

    What size tyres are you running on the Jimny at the moment and are you still running the 50mm lift.

      @MightyOverlander  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m using MAXXIS RAZR AT 235/75/15 on CSA steel wheels 15x7 with a -6 offset. Yeah still the 50mm lift. What are you thinking of using?

      I'm looking at the Ironman GVM upgrade and 50mm lift, I'm in NSW so have to be aware of the legalities for my mods. Your little truck has become a bit of an inspiration for me so I keep track of your mods. I'm definitely looking at your rooftop tent as my Jimny is slowly being turned into a compact camping and shooting vehicle for use in state forests.@@MightyOverlander
