you could also do /dialogue open @e[r=4,type=NPC] @a[hasitem={item=compass,location=slot.main.hand}] in a repeating-always -active command with the NPC you want next to it. Then if you hold the compass in your main hand a NPC dialogue will open and you can make tps
I use a structure block setup to do this. But sometimes my teleport item or whatever item I’m using to throw down ends up in another person inventory. I assume it is because they are closer to the command blocks that give this command. So I guess I’ll try this. I’ve made items that tp, give abilities, clear abilities, kill everything around me, or even give a tag to start flattening land. Very useful.

So the only way I can think is where you have to purchase a rank / role to be able to mine in that area. I’ve done that before and it’s possible! All you need to do is with the scoreboard, make a shop that when you buy it it will tag the player and the mining area is a button where they can click it and it’ll teleport only certain tagged players to that area
