Jerry Rice was so good it didn’t matter who was coaching. It’s also convenient that he started coaching with Steve Young who was already playing elite as a backup for Joe Montana lol
George Seifert got exposed when he went to The Panthers, Bill Walsh handed him the reigns to a championship winning team he had the best owner in the league in Eddie DeBartolo to hold his hand and when Joe Montana got banged up they had Steve Young and aging talent was immediately replaced great talent, Terrell Owen’s & Ricky Watters fell into his lap he got Deion Saunders for a season Still had Jerry Rice playing at an elite level through most of the nineties, Even Steve Mariucci did well with the team with Jeff Garcia until Owen’s left and the talent level dried up.

Bill Belichick makes Benedict Arnold look like an amateur. Double-crossing is rookie numbers for Bill: he’s got to quadruple-cross everyone he encounters.
The Cowboys also got Miami QB Steve Walsh in the Supplemental Draft in 1989. He was favored over Aikman by his former Hurricanes coach Jimmy Johnson; started 5 games in the '89 Season; and led the Cowboys to that single win against the Redskins. Jones had more faith in Aikman's ability- and Walsh was traded to the Saints 4 games into the 1990 Season.
14:45 the Patriots would not have taken Manning if he was available in 1997. They were coming off a Superbowl appearance with Drew Bledsoe who was one of the better QBs at the time and seemed to have a long and successful career ahead of him.

I'm basically old enough that when the Pats won their first superbowl, I was stunned because for me they were always a historically bad team with a couple fluke appearances in superbowls before.
Though, kinda looks like they're back to 1990 form now.
The Raiders had a phantom "roughing" call reverse a 4th down that would've ended the game in 76. Desmond Howard beat the Patriots in 96, both defenses played well that game. And 85 was a giant mistake. The AFC Championship was the first time NE won in the Orange Bowl. If they hadn't, Marino would have a ring and Bears fans would only be slightly less annoying.
@@johnchedsey1306 Yeah.... but i swear it is not Mayo fault that the team sucks!
2024 may be next
@@millertime6178 Good.
Can't wait to see another 1-15 panthers video next year
1-16 here we come!
And honestly, the point differential may be one of the worst in history if not THE worst.
Let's not be pessimistic. The Browns could still have another 16 loss season this year.
If the browns don’t trade anyone and than draft an oline with the first pick of draft Cleveland could do what the dolphins did in 2008 that year they went 11-5 after going 1-15 in 2007
Browns might do the same next year if they keep all of their talent going from 1-16 to 12-5 in one year
@@jonathanfrimerman8855 I would say the Browns are 4-5 years minimum away from their next postseason appearance.
6:58 "This is your brother, MARVIN Berry..."
The 1972 and 1973 Oilers also finished 1-13
Well what do you expect a zoomer is running this channel they would miss it
Bill Belichick makes Benedict Arnold look like an amateur. Double-crossing is rookie numbers for Bill: he’s got to quadruple-cross everyone he encounters.
KTO never misses
Good use of Jim Donovan at 9:40 RIP
I’m early as hell I bet this video is going to be good
The Cowboys also got Miami QB Steve Walsh in the Supplemental Draft in 1989.
20:59 Tony soprano?
Respect Tony Sparano, RIP
@@Saltiren R.I.P., A great man… Tony Sparano.
(October 7th, 1961 - July 22, 2018).
I remember that John Bois video showing how the Panthers have been the most inconsistent team in NFL history.
So the saints went 1-15, needed defense and then passed up on LT
I wonder when we will see a 1-15 team's only win come against a 15-1 team?
It'll be a Browns v Chiefs game. Calling it now.
That happened in the 2023 XFL season. The 1 - 9 Orlando Guardians' only win came against the 9 - 1 DC Defenders.
As a Lions fan, I can't defend the 2008 team. However, it frustrates me that some of these 1-15 teams aren't talked about more because I think some of them were truly worse than that Lions squad.
Mom wake up kto jus dropped
HEY KTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you do a piece on the greatest season league wise for Wide receivers (1995) and maybe RB's (2006) but i'd rather see what you can put together for the wideouts of 1995 (incredible year especially under the old press coverage rules and pre CTE hitting rules. Look at Isaac Bruce's stats for that season and he didn't even make all pro or the pro bowl!!!!!!!!)
6:42 as a former dallas fan hits so hard after the packers loss i joined the Texans Fandom the cowboys choke too much.
I wish we could repeat that feat again next year 😔 Keeppounding
Raiders be sweating right now over Panthers record this season
22:20 - marc bulger was taken ahead of Tom Brady just figured I’d throw that out there. And he was one of the better guys lmaooo
Well now I want you to make a video about what happened to the teams that were these teams' one win that season.
