Hey Mike, I find in being in this business for a few years now, I find that inventory is the key to success. People need there stuff today, not waiting to order it in. Sometimes they ask if they can get 2 keys or remotes. Also the xhorse remotes are good to have as a back up, but if I try to show a customer these they usually pass as It looks to generic but the autel I can sell as they look like the factory. I just use 1 company and use there best aftermarket keys that way it is easy to look up inventory as all the numbers match the web site. If your trying to get into this business inventory is key more then fancy programmers and key cutting machines. It is expensive to have inventory but if you don't have it the customers will go to someone who does. Just think if you go to the store and they don't have it on the shelf, you get in the car and drive around till you find someone who has it, you don't wait a week for them to get it in.

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE hey man i was wondering if you have any advice that could help me out with my 2003 Chevy Silverado. My ignition cylinder locked up. The key wouldn't turn it. I tried all methods to remove it and failed, so i drilled out the ignition cylinder. I bought a new ignition, with a new set of keys that came with it, and once again, the key would not turn forward to start the vehicle. Now, i can't remove the new cylinder without damaging it. What's more odd is that the shifter on the steering column now moves up and down through all the gears despite the key being in the off position. I don't know what to do. Did i possibly damage something in the ignition cylinder housing when drilling out the old cylinder? The housing seems fine. I did cause a few surface scratches but nothing significant. I've heard about a steering rod actuator inside the ignition cylinder or behind it, but i can't find much info on that. Sure would love some advice! Thank you so much!!
Gracias Mike por hacer estos videos, que mucho aprendo contigo...I know this is not a BMW video but I have a question for you, maybe you can help me, I just did a 2012 e93 with comfort access all keys lost, I read the CAS3+ on the bench with my Autel, wrote the key by dump and wrote the file back into the CAS3+ module, key didn't work, it was a Keyless Factory proximity 315hz CAS3 key from UHS, when it asked me if it was a semi-smart or smart I chose smart, because it has comfort access, but also has a key slot so I was confused, looking back I didn't pre-process the key, could this be the problem? It's my first AKL on BMW, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
