    I just went to the AT&T store and they told me “they cant sell me a SIM card for this device on its own because it would need to have a separate phone line attached to it.” What can I tell them to get this connected without setting up a phone line too

      I had to open a separate business account and they gave my device a phone number even though it does not use a phone number. I love it and the unlimited has really been unlimited with no throttling . I would go to another ATT store, make sure its not a business who looks like an att store and an actual att store. ask to open a business account.

    Thanks I was like where do I get a dang SIM card and I don’t want to buy the wrong one. I guess I’ll just bring the device with me to the AT and T store so I can get it working.

    Remove the battery and just use the power cable if stationary.
    If you want a new hotspot device, Get a device that you can change the TTL

    I went to the ATT store to try and get an unlimited plan on it but they told me they don't offer such service. I also have a business account aswell.

      Ask for Ipad Unlimted Stand Alone plan. Not all employees know about it, but its there :)

      It's not about service. It's about hacking a modem. To get unlimited. There's a huge difference between those two.

      @@Dr-Mentor-1986 Netbuddy just kicked me off and t9ld me to go to att. I got the 100gb a month for 90 bucks. I have a Cudy router that is running the data just fine but im limited. How can I get unlimited on this plan with my Cudy router?

    This is kind of false, bro. I tried this months ago and dealing with At and T business account is the worst customer service I've ever tried to get. It never worked out. The at&t stores can't help you with business accounts, and to get the over thr phone technicians to hook it up cost me several days to no success. They just keep bouncing you around to different departments that couldn't figure out how to setup a business account

      I had good luck at my att store I had to drive an hour to get to an actual att store and not the ones with the att logo but not an actual att store. They really took care of me, I am glad I had the Netgear HotSpot in hand that I had bought on line because they were out of stock and since I had mine they were able to set it up before I left the store. I love mine and it I get unlimited data very fast, I hooked up an erro router to it in my house and now its my house wife. after the initial fees the monthly cost is about $70. I love mine and it has helped me grow my TH-cam channel, I would not have been able to do it without this device.

    I pay a hundred bucks for 40 gigs on a nighthawk... which I use as a truck driver to watch TV. Its used up in 2 weeks just watching an hour or so a day on Roku. Not worth it. A ripoff. Going to pay off the damn router so I can cancel it.

    • @pokerus4511

      Stand alone plans are not meant for use inside a hotspot. They were used for single line plans. What you suggest is breaking TOS, and will actually get your account suspended and or cancelled. Having worked for them I have seen accounts suspended and or canceled daily due to this same suggestion.
      There is a proper unlimited plan for those with Business accounts that range between $70-$100. You can not qualify for an account unless you own an actual business.
      Again your suggestions actually have led to more issues for plenty of others. It is actually leads to employees getting cussed out and even threatened because of misinformation given

    • @pokerus4511
      @pokerus4511 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This video never said this was a hack? Seriously? This is a person explaining that there is a plan for unlimited versus people trying to consistently break TOS so they can pay nothing for home internet. Not how the world works. If you had a business that people were trying hacks and cost you money you would be the first to cry. Yet you seem to only want to do the exact same to other companies
