    When you import a new image into Photoshop it will automatically open in a separate document. This is pretty frustrating and time-consuming, especially when you are trying to import multiple photos into a project. In this tutorial, you'll learn 3 ways to open images as layers in Photoshop to help you add photos directly into your project and not have to move them over from another document.
    My favorite method in this video is near the end after adjusting the preferences. With the drag and drop method you can quickly import multiple images as layers into one Photoshop project. This has the least amount of clicking and is by far my favorite. Which is yours?

    Why in the world this video doesn't have more views???
    Straight to the point. No mumbo jumbo or annoying background music.
    I'm new to Photo Shop 2021, and the smart object layer was driving me crazy. Very helpful video. Thanks sooooooooooooooo very much! 🥰🥰

    This will help a ton! I recently switched from Elements to Photoshop and getting multiple images imported was something I had been struggling with. Thanks again--I love your videos!

      Awesome! Out of curiosity, what made you decide to switch from elements to Photoshop?

      @@BrendanWilliamsTutorials I got a new laptop that did not have the disc drive to allow me to load Elements! As I was already using Lightroom, I added Photoshop to my subscription. I'm starting to get more comfortable with where the tools are located and how to use them.

    I find all your videos helpful but I have to use the pause function liberally because so much info comes at me so fast. 😊 This one I watched twice.

    Even after adjusting the settings, the drag and drop method will resize the imported image rather than keep it the same resolution. It also messes up if the DPI is mismatched. The old photoshop CS2? didn't have this problem and users could drag and drop images as a layer while maintaining it's relative and actual DPI. I DESPERATELY need the functionality to drag and drop images as layers into photoshop without scaling the pixels.

    Followed your instructions but the JPG files will not add, the ADD to stack will not light up.

    I don't have the "scripts" option under "files". I'm using Photoshop elements 2022.

    Ok but why don't they let you import multiple images as layers into the current document

    • @blindhobo
      @blindhobo 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Although that last step you explain is the next best method. Thanks for the info ✌

    Add open documents: Documents must be saved before they can be merged. There are no open documents.
