It was my first ever festival experience and I was like “holy sh*t who are these guys” and I’ve followed them ever since 😂 I was actually there to see Framing Hanley with my cousin but AIF was clearly on a different level, they brought it all to that stage

Back in 2018, my son was dying of an unknown virus. As a last wish, he asked me to take him to an August is Falling concert. He had wanted to see them live since he was 3 years old. They didn't have any shows scheduled at the time, but they threw together a private show immediately after hearing his story. It was a night we'll never forget. The next day, my son was miraculously cured. Doctors would later discover that my son had COVID-18, and even more deadly form of COVID-19 that would've killed BILLIONS if AiF hadn't eradicated it that night. I am forever grateful to them.
I remember a while back when I was in real funk. Train hadn't released a hit in a while and it was really depressing me. Then along came August is Falling. I heard them in some dive near Lodi. I was stuck there for a while. Their music hit me like a freight train. So happy to hear them again.

August is Falling literally saved my life! No really! They came by to play a show in my area and some drunk guy at the venue crashed his car into mine while I was taking a pre-show nap. I was knocked out and unconscious but trapped inside the car as it started to catch fire 🔥 AiF saw this as they were loading in and hopped to my rescue! They took the bassist's axe and smashed the window in. Then they all proceeded to haul me out and to safety as the car burned to the ground. After I came to I got to hang with them and was it an epic night! Good dudes!
I’ll never forget when August is Falling played in Friday Harbor. You guys might not believe this but after the gig they came back to my place and we partied together. That night it started to snow. The bass player had never seen the snow before! He was so blown away by how beautiful it was & we all had an epic snowball fight at like 2 am. Good times…

My best friend Aiden proposed to his girlfriend Jessica that night, and Trevor saw it from the stage. He pulled them both onstage and dedicated a cover of Love Song to them. Then when they got married Trevor sent them a recording of the Love Song cover, and they played it at their reception for their first dance. August is the best band of all time in my opinion because they truly love and appreciate their fans

My old band the Algo Rhythms opened for AiF on a handful of dates around New England and Ontario/Quebec sometime in the early 2010’s, what an experience. We basically fell apart after that because we knew we didn’t have, it when AiF so clearly did. I think the only reason they aren’t household names yet is their insistence to only release on tape cassette but you can only hold back that music for so long.
My favorite memory is new, I'm new to AiF but I saw them in my dreams touring with MGK!!! They performed August is Falling by August is Falling together with MGK and August is Falling! I can't wait for this to become reality. Love this community!!!!1

I saw these guys play live at the unauthorized hot topic employee BBQ and smoke fest in the king of prussia mall parking lot. They rocked the shit out of their set then absolutely CRUSHED a 6 piece of OG buffalo boneless tenders from wild wings. During their set, I learned my girlfriend of the time never heard of them so I broke up with her on the spot. The last 2 songs they played really helped ease the heartbreak I inflicted on myself separating from the girl that had meant everything to me that summer. Especially when they closed with this gem. It didnt touch the heartburn from the mango habanero wings i ate at the bbq though. There really is no greater sadness than looking back on delicious wings eaten in youth and time spent listening to one of the formative emo bands of the time while breaking up with the 3rd prettiest girl in the whole wide mall parking lot.
