So glad they haven't sold out just like my other favorite emo bands, Green Day (so heavy, look out Slayer), Good Charlotte (not corny at all- leave them alone Eddie Vedder!), and the best band ever A Simple Plan. I hear they got a hot tub! I didn't know they had those in French Canada.
I saw them at Starland Ballroom in New Jersey in 2019; they had so much energy on stage. I bought one of their CDs on the way out and listened to it endlessly throughout the pandemic. It honestly helped keep me sane. And it's a good thing I bought the CD because it's surprisingly hard to find their music online! I'm glad they're finally starting to get the recognition that they deserve. I can tell you that Starland was hopping that night when they were playing!
I remember that show! They only pressed a few demo CDs, and I didn't manage to snag one. They still basically set the whole stage on fire though, a very tough act to follow which is good because every other band refused to follow that up.

These guys crashed at my house after a show. My girlfriend gave the drummer a haircut in my kitchen and the bass player left his towel in the spare bathroom. When I messaged them to mail it back to them he said keep it. I'm going to get them next time they are in town.
I heard that they plan on donating a big chunk of the sales from their EP to charity. In a world where most selfish rockstar jerks would spend their money on stuff like a hot tub, they instead help other people. Stellar guys!

Oh yeah the Des Moines situation was the kind of thing that really makes or breaks a band. We’re very lucky nobody died that night, and I understand legislation was passed in the literal Iowa senate a couple of months later to make it against the law.
My soul sister went to Harvard back in 2019 and I used to take the train up to visit her all summer long but back then people in her dorm were kinda dunkin' on AiF. Apparently up around the Boston market good music is their kryptonite but then one day we're having lunch at the local poké spot, the Kravitz Bowl, and this song came on the radio! We were so stoked we called my friend Dani in California because he's the one who first played us AiF. He pulled over while driving through Beverly Hills just to jump out and do a little victory dance, when some boujie old lady who was all fancy-like told him "settle down" but Dani shot back "ain't nobody gonna tell me how to live!" Too funny. Anyway, stoked to see AiF getting the recognition they deserve. Probably time for me dig up my t-shirt and put it back in the laundry rotation. :)

This band played a show in my basement in 2019 then spent the night. When the show was over we went and got pizza and just hung out. The nicest guys. They even gave me a free t shirt.

My younger sister was 19 and met the guys outside after a gig. She was really going through a period of understanding and finding herself. She thought throwing herself at some budding rockstars would give her validation. These guys are so sweet that they just talked to her until the sun came up about true emotions and life’s journeys we take. Told her to find someone who really cares for her and sees her for the beautiful person she is not as someone to use. They wrote this song soon after. I think maybe that they wrote it about her!

Incredible EP. I saw them open for with Formula 409 and the they absolutely blew up the stage at Sad Fest with currently unrecord tunes, "Making things with Pain" and "Jennifer Knows Where my Harts Breaks" . They have so many awesome tunes, it fricking awesome that they are finally getting some of them them down on wax.

The first time I heard AIF was when I lived in Portland. I was in the car and it was raining lightly, drizzling, constantly, all day... But despite the rain the sun was still shining trough the clouds and it was a beautiful day. This song makes me think of those times.

Trevor is an absolute great person as well as a great artist. I remember meeting him in person and I asked him why they hadn’t taken off as much as they probably should have at that point and he said “I know….. You know….. but THEY don’t know.”

Just too many boomer bogans and aging metal heads that think anything that was made after Dead Man's Trail is automatic garbage. I actually (like actually actually) used to tend bar at the football stadium, and we had to take the lids off the bottle of Coke, so that they couldn't be used as projectiles. This was at an Adele concert. Gives you some idea of what we're dealing with here I hope you're right that they're coming back though. Maybe now that they're finally popping, they'll get a bit more respect :(

I've loved this band for so long and it so great to see them FINNALLY getting some attention! they rock SOOO hard live!
