You have the best, the very best channel. I always learn from you. Your subjects - so varied, so interesting. Thank you so much for all your efforts. I want to now get caught up on your latest. Thank you for all that you do!!
Hi Lisa. Great video! Bread looks delish, "fer sure". Yum! Coarse Kosher salt is nice on top. You mentioned making a pastry from it. I used to form pastry dough in a similar way when we had a pear tree, in TX. Filled it with cooked pears. Been so many years. Always a good memory. Thx for sharing your joy of baking. Yeast breads are my favorite to make, (crumpets, Mmm) but I also enjoy making (& eating : ) quick breads, esp. scones & muffins, pretzel rolls. Happy Baking 💜 Enjoyed it!
@@TheQuiltmakerHomestead I have the KoNo Fidibus Medium. The KoNo mills have a 12 year warranty is the reason I chose it. Simple and easy to use. Grinds from coarse to really fine flour. A little bit of an investment but worth it. There are cheaper ones that work just as well but the warranty isn’t nearly as long. They sell out fast but usually not for long. I got mine from Pleasant Hill Grain out of Nebraska with different ones to choose with descriptions and wattage on them. I have found their grains to be on the pricey side but probably due to delivery costs. Whenever we go south I stop at Bread Beckers in Georgia and buy up grain at nearly half the cost. They have co-ops but none really near me.
Yum! you make me hungry every time you show us your great foods.
These are beeeeeUUUUUUtiful!
I have been loving this bread recipe and have been making it every week. I don’t buy bread anymore so this will be awesome for some hoagies. ❤️
