I bought my 2013 Accord because of your video on it some years ago and upgraded it to 2016 just like you said in the video. I've never regretted that purchase. This 2018 model is the only car that takes my eye off my current car. Tbh, Honda disappointed me with their designs from 2023 but I'm determined to buy this 2018 as my next ride. Keep it up 💯
My love for Honda will NEVER Stop! From my first car: Honda Accord 2008 to the CIVIC 2008 to the Honda CRV 2013. My next will be a Honda HRV by God's grace then this one may be my second car!
Your reviews are on point and stated for our country parameters...like roads and car condition. I must say this car is lovely. Been in one and i promise to buy this car next.
Anyway for anyone buy this model of accord avoid the 1.5T engine... So you can have rest of mind. Had issues with oil dilution, head gasket etc and some generation has AC issue mainly the condenser until Honda changed vendors. Also if owning the car see the "remove thermostat" mentality dead it cuz the engine won't see 3yrs without it... The engine make use of low tension rings so be wise.... Aside that enjoy.
I love this car so much, do you know you can pair your phone with the car by just putting your phone on the letter N written on dashboard… the tech in the car is beautiful ❤
Great review! I appreciate the road test but I'd like to see more numbers. The shoe measurement felt uniquely Nigerian and relatable and that's why I love your content. Maybe spend sometime in the back seat and show us the boot too in future videos.
I've always loved this car for its looks and basic functionalities..... but I'm not a fan of sedans, ground clearance is a huge thing for me when it comes to cars
I like the reviews, looks like a Nigerian type review but I think some things can be adjusted like sound, instead of breaking with air noise or none at all after you stop explaining something just put some beats in between and when it's time to resume talking reduce it to zero. Also instead of turning the head to the rear seat and also to the driver side, just use a Cam from different angles. Understand it's not cheap too but it makes a real hyper videos for car reviews. From a camera to the rear and even to the wheels.
In your next video... Should compared this to the 2024 model... State out the obvious btwn them... (Ground clearance, length, engine sizes , responsiveness, noise cancelling) This helps in making proper purchase decisions. I love the review. Grt job.
@@234drive lol…… why did you say that? The 4 plug 9th generation Honda Accord produces 185hp. The 10th generation produces 192hp…… of course the 10th generation is faster. TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE has gotten to a critical point… although you are reviewing the car you are causing excessive wear on the inner workings of the transmission. Fix your dashboard light. And pay attention to car warning signs.
@@234drive check 07:12 and take notice of the warning sign on the dashboard of the car you are reviewing. I appreciate the effort you put into the car review. @@Vinxxehithere’s no transmission temperature warning light on the dashboard. The TPMS was flashing and the ”i ” sign is as a result of the low fuel which I mentioned. If you are reviewing cars, then it pays to get a ruler. Using your shoes as measuring device is just ridiculous. It is called instrument cluster, not tachometer. Tachometer is just one reading on the instrument cluster that reads engine speed in rpm.
Didn’t plan to measure anything, it was improv. Written boldly there “for context” not exact measurement. Yeah, instrument cluster thanks for pointing that out.
You say for someone who cant afford luxury car, 28m😂 abeg oo, when people see a benz they look, thats the exact same way people always look at this Honda on the road, the headlamps, the curves, 19inches rims, handles extremely well in the corners thats why the car is low asff , safety features? E get everything wey benz get, except air suspension sha😂 and maintenance, the car no fit stress u if u do am well, 0 to 60 5.1 seconds for touring 2.0t and Sport 2.0t
It’s just the economy that is bad. This car shouldn’t cost up to that on a normal day and to be very honest…it is not a luxury car despite having all these features. But I guess we can call it our luxury car based on the price
I own a 2020 version which I bought brand new. Please do not buy this car. Take it from me. I own one. First problem is the ride height. You might think it's not a big deal but in Nigeria, it is horrible. I cannot tell you how my heart jumps everytime the undercarriage scratches the ground. Second is the issue of fuel dilution. I have to change oil every 2,000 miles because fuel goes past the piston rings and dilutes the engine oil. You are required to put in 3.7 quarts but coming out, the oil gets to up to 5 quarts because of the amount of fuel in it, causing the oil to lose its lubricating quality. Thirdly, it is incredibly easy to get this vehicle flooded in Nigeria cos it's too low to the ground. I have all dashboard lights on cos my evap canister is stuck after driving through a puddle. The worst part is that it turns off a lot of features automatically when the dashboard lights are on. Fourthly, it's not as economical as it sounds. It does return 25 miles per gallon but that's not a good trade off for the issues it has. The last but not the least, the automatic braking from the ACC system is very bad. This vehicle's radar is so sensitive that it brakes automatically even when youre on the highway when it mistakenly senses stuff that are not really there. I cannot tell you how many times I've almost had an accident cos it braked for no reason. Also, the turbo is a huge challenge. The fuel quality in Nigeria is so bad that it's only a matter of time before the turbo gives up. This car is not for Nigerian roads. Plain and simple. I'm planning to trade it for an ES 350. It has just 7,000 miles so I haven't driven it much but I'm tired of it tbh.
2014 sport version is the finest sedan yet. This car is bulky kooking and the rear view is not as fine as 2014 sport. The front of this car is beautiful though.
