I have found that the double loops are fine as an end of line knot for the sinker, but for mid rig use they create a weakness below the knot. If you do a miscast where line snags on rod or reel the rig will snap at that double loop resulting in the loss of your sinker

Main line 20Ib, lead 30Ib. Clip swivels I find to tangle the lines.
