Having only the two of them I realize they're 80% of the reason I'd watch drawfee. Julia is my favorite artist but she's quiet most of the time and jacob can be too bossy and angry.

He's doing a "put-upon guy trying to keep the show on the rails" character while unironically trying to keep the show on the rails. Back in the day when Caldwell and Nathan were the main hosts and there were occasional rotating guests (Julia, Jacob, Jake Young, Willie Muse, basically whichever CH/Dorkly staff member was available), I always used to think Jacob's whole thing was slotting in seamlessly without interfering with the existing Caldwell/Nathan dynamic. I don't think I was alone either. The "atom gang" lineup (Julia, Jacob, Willie) was so called because (according to them at least) Julia was a fan favourite (positive), Willie was more divisive (negative) and Jacob was the neutral one. It's interesting to see how Jacob's role evolved over the years. (It's weird talking about "roles" for a show where the appeal is that it's just a bunch of friends vibing but yeah)
Oh my lord the cutoff on Nathan's new avatar in the intro is so funny to me just the menacing little eyes barely peaking, and the spectacular energy of just Nathan and Karina 11/10
The fact that Jacob wasn't there to provoke Karina's mischievious nature, and that Julia was not present to turn pokemon into weird little guys, made this episode like... The most chill Drawfee episode in a _while._ And while I love the chaos and unhingedness, I think this was like, the perfect little palette cleanser to better appreciate the chaos, I think. So thank you for that
I really love seeing how the vibe changes depending on who's present. It's always really fun. Especially when the vibe of the four of them keeps evolving, and the vibe between just some of them evolves so much slower.

I try to theme my nicknames for all my Nuzlockes. I've had great themes like "comfort foods" and "vegetables", but I've also had themes that sounded cool but quickly became issues, like "extinct megafauna" and "igneous rocks". Also, Scarlet and Violet (at the moment) are my favorite games in the series. There's definitely some rough points, but it's just so fun to ride around on my goofy motorcycle dragon, and I love the new designs.
my favorite thing about scvi is def the raidon, i love my korai so much. silly little massive lizard baby. i love riding on him. its so funny the way he mimics wheels with his chest and tail but is still just running normally. love that guy
I actually do like it when Drawfee does a trend late. The trend can marinate and cook a bit so we get a refined version of it in the episode, the callback and reminder of a previous trend generates good hype, and we get excellent banter while also getting a peek behind the curtain in the thought process and drawing process of figuring out the different formes!

While there are gender based forms and evolutions, the Nidos are the only Pokemon to have completely different forms for each gender throughout the entire line. That Anticipation Wiscash is perfect as the Pokemon is said to "shutter" upon entering battle if the opponent has a SE or 1HKO move.
I love episodes like this that really show off that y'all are also friends and not just coworkers. Watching Nathan and Karina just hang out but also just spend the time enjoying each others' company is really delightful

Karina’s take on SV is pretty much my own. Despite its many technical flaws, SV are some of the best games in terms of their content. Really solid story, fun exploration, and sometimes you just find yourself in a location that still manages to have that Pokemon magic.
Nathan and Karina have the cutest dynamic when it’s just the two of them! I’m always initially disappointed whenever it’s not all 4, but I love the subtle changes to the vibe different combos give!

Karina’s take on SV is pretty much my own. Despite its many technical flaws, SV are some of the best games in terms of their content. Really solid story, fun exploration, and sometimes you just find yourself in a location that still manages to have that Pokemon magic.
Espurr also evolves into a different form based on gender. Everyone forgets about the autism cat 😭
Nathan and Karina have the cutest dynamic when it’s just the two of them! I’m always initially disappointed whenever it’s not all 4, but I love the subtle changes to the vibe different combos give!
