What was that that fell around the 5:45 mark? I have flown on Cathay Pacific's A340-300 and B747-400 and Boeing wins by a long shot. The rate of climb on the A340 was like a goose with lead gumboots compared to the 747.
Indeed a great wide body bird. When I hear the engines roar giving all their power at take off I have the feeling they will chock... Nice catch. Any landing of this trip?
flygwada971 link to the landing is in the description! You’ll also find the takeoff and landing of the return flight to Heathrow in the same aircraft on my channel as well!
a edelweiss a340 takes off over my apartment in Bogota colombia, I always think its just another a320 until it gets right over the house and I hear a very pronounced "Whoosh" sound because it has 2 more engines than a320 and is a heavy.
@@noah9130 Well, they both have similar buzzsaw sounds, but the biggest difference between the CFM56 and RB211 is that the latter has three N stages, while the former has just two, and doesn't use EPR as the takeoff reference.
Brilliant video! I'm a big fan of the A340's, even if they have hair dryer engines!

Oh... how we all miss watching the climb out through clouds ....magic... thanks for posting

Probably something in the galley that wasn't secured properly.

Feels so weird to be in a twin aisle aircraft then during take off it sounds exactly like a 737/A320
ЗХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХХ
Skip to 5 mins if you want the takeoff.

Sounds like a Boeing 757-200
Definitely not

Aurum Punzel Maybe there are some similarities but it's not like when you hear an a320 and an a340 (they have almost the same engines)
It sounds similar to the RB211s yet i can tell a huge difference.
