This one is fun to watch, I viewed it several times and noticed one liner has the name Niki on it's rudder. My landlord has a husky dog named Niki. Great take off video and awesome sounds of the engines.
Wow what a soundtrack, I really need to fly on this jet before it disappears from the skies. I was hoping to fly to Madagascar with Air France on their A340, but that will be a none event now unfortunately, given their fleet restructuring.
Beautiful engine roar! Sadly, like other quad-jets, this aircraft is simply no longer economically viable since it's more expensive to maintain and it's quite a fuel-drinker.
@@WarhammerWings It’s just not feasible. NEO twin-jets already have excellent performance with better fuel efficiency, so NEO quad-jets aren’t a good idea.

Did you know Airbus did once consider both of 757's power plant of PW2000 & RB211-535? But PW2000 was not reliable enough(irony) and RB211 too expensive. So only CFM56-5C left. I think if RB211 was chosen A340 might come out not as beat up in the competition against the old 772ER. Parts of the jet are built to flex and move around a little bit. The wings bend when thrust is applied.
The engine sound.. im in heaven
No you're on earth but the sound is superb, I'll agree.
@The Boeing Kid I'll give the DC - 8 - 70 a go.
Perfect buzzsaw, not that different than an old DC-10.
It's the same one as the 737 Classic, 737 Next Gen, and A320 first gen
That sound is what allows this thing with hair driers to fly. A vibrational frequency that levitates it like honey bees levitate.
