I know! My parents call it "the hotdog plane" because it's so long and relatively thin but still quite wide, wide enough to accommodate 8 seats across in a 2-4-2 configuration!
Wow! What an experience. Vancouver is such a beautiful city & Lufthansa delivered a beautiful take off, climb and views of the city in a stunning twilight. Whoever shot this video, thanks for sharing!
Great video! The engines essentially strap a A330 fan with a B777 engine core, producing a brilliant roar at takeoff but being incredibly quiet during cruise.
Utterly fabulous! Perfect light, glorious scenery and the climb through the cloud layer is mesmerising. I would love to visit that city, come to think of it, just getting on a plane again would be more than agreeable.
A340-600 the best airplane ever build for lufthansa..withe the toilets in the ground of the airplane..and the plane is so beautiful to look on it.all A340-600 were based in munich .now all based in frankfurt...munich get the A350-900 nearly all fly from munich,FRA 747,340-300,340-600,,787...munich A350-900 ,A380-800
The A340 will be missed, such it was a nice aircraft to fly, even thought it was low to get high altitude. Those videos will be collector for the next generation👍✅
There might be the chance actually. Lufthansa will be operating 5 Airbus A340-600 out of Munich as of next summer. Maybe they dispatch it to YVR ;) Who knows!
Radically different view than from the A340-300, the engines are much larger and the wings are too. The wings on the A346 are the exact same shape but they're dilated up a few percent from those on the A343.
Great video thank you . Just saw Virgin Atlantic 340-600 video and the takeoff was not as loud as the Lufthansa , I am assuming they have the same engines?
@@FueltoNoiseGenerator The last time I took this flight with Lufthansa A340-600 was in September 2016. We have a summer home in Greece and I usually fly Air Canada with an AC connection through Toronto. Next time I go I may try the A350. Never been on one. Thanks.
The A340-600 is still one of my favourite aircraft, both as a passenger and from an aesthetic point of view.
Absolutely, I couldn't agree more!
My favorite is the A 320
Here you go! ;)

Glad, you enjoyed it! You’re most welcome! :)
Yeah. Never get tired of those kinds of videos. Thumbs up!
Just beautiful, good to hear that Lufthansa are reintroducing the A340 in 2022 for a limited period.
Amazing take-off & TRENT engine roar & sound!
Gorgeous departure from one of the most beautiful places on earth. Thanks for sharing!

A very nice thrust increase at 3:18 after takeoff!
Wonderful roar of engines and beautiful view of nature ❤️

This video is all about perfection and dream.
Thanks for sharing it with us ❤
Best sound in the sky!❤
Echo the guy before me - fabulous!
Helluva thrust increase and you can actually feel the airliner speed up when they do that, very powerful indeed.
Great video and great engine roar, thank you for sharing!!
Engine sounds are so smooth and subdued whining sound. I think these are Rolls Royce engines. Nice video.
Exactly! :) Rolls-Royce Trent 500 engines :)
Stunning indeed! Thank-you for that post!!!
Hey J B, thank you for your kind comment! Much appreciated!
Cheers mate and take care!
outstanding video with incredible wingview and engine sound
Excelente, aircraft
Those engines sound so powerful after the captain instigated that thrust increase and the passengers actually felt the airliner speed up.
NICE Air Video 4 sure.. LIKE that description Bar showing what is viewed from above... Probably one of the BEST I've seen!!
Beautiful sound
WONDERFUL NATURE Beautiful Video Thank You
Thank you very much for your kind comment! My pleasure ;)

Great vid- love the-600
Same here :) Cheers, mate!

I might be able to flight with an 340-600 from Muc to YVR in just a few weeks ^^
Quite the sight, how small stanley park looks from that altitude. 😅
First sentence in the video description got him a subscriber
Made my day! :) Cheers, mate!
My favourite aircraft, taking off from my hometown. Shame I’ll probably never fly on her again.

@@FueltoNoiseGenerator That would be a dream come true!
i miss this bird :(
coming to jfk in 5 days

What?! No babies crying in the background? I'm shocked!
I think there’s no babies during the flight I suppose

Probably less power required cause of the Payload or fuel ??
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hhmmmmm life before corona...
Hehe ;)
Unfortunately true!
Nice. I have taken this flight with this aircraft to MUC on the way to ATH. I live in Vancouver.
Hey, that's awesome! I believe that must have been quite a while ago? Since the A350 serves that route since some years I believe.

The A350 via MUC is quite nice I guess. However, a direct flight with on of Air Canada‘s 787 straight to ATH is also quite good!
@@FueltoNoiseGenerator
Yes but not out of Vancouver. Gotta got to Toronto or Montreal for that.
These are trent 500-57-2B engines 57,200 lbs of thrust per engine
Are you sure? I believe it's RR Trent 556-61. But not sure, though.
Depends on aircraft
Trent 500 sound
*eargasmed*
😎✈️
Where to?
That flight was from Vancouver to Munich :)
was this runway 26L ? :)
Hey Pete,
yes, it was actually RWY 26L!
why no airbus a350 not come here
Please do not move the camera around in the future
Won‘t happen outside beautiful British Columbia ;)
2880-3000 rpm
why airbus a340 600 landing vancouver there
That video was recorded before the A350 was introduced. By that time it was operated with A340-600 from MUC.
Pakistan you have to crash one surplus airbus airplane on the Heathrow airport any time.....,.....
Keep the camera on the engines. The moving around adds no value. Use a second camera for additional shots, which you can then edit in sequence later.
