That chassis looks interesting . I don't think I would buy one because of cost spending 700 additional dollar on a Mosin Nagant doesn't make much sense to me. Although I have a ex Sniper 91/30 that I bought for 50.00 bucks. Many years ago that would make a good candidate for this project.
To bad rock Solid mount doesn't allow Piccanie rings. So we can mount better Scopes. Like the Arken EP5 5x25x56. Which is what I am trying g to correct with my Mosin. I had to purchase the CRC rail which is also made in Ukraine. I hope it works.
Grey parkerizing would look great, unfortunately I dont know anyone who does that near me. I have a friend who does traditional bluing, but that would look great.

I bought them a while ago, when they were $350. The current prices are pretty high. But the quality is very high
You should be able to get it to sit flush on the rear by tightening the rear screw, I saw it on another channel.
However, when you get it flush the mag might need some minor modification.
They all need a little fitting work, Mosins were never built to exacting standards. More to come soon on this rifle build

What size buffer tube does it take?
It takes a standard ar buffer tube. The ar stock I got came with its own buffer tube, but the tread size is standard ar
