You can alt+click items in your inventory to favorite them, this will prevent them from being auto sorted when you click the auto sort button (one of the little chest symbols next to the bin). The other chest symbol automatically stacks items from your inventory onto stacks inside of chests nearby. Both are very useful features, I recommend trying them.

hey how did you get rid of the background?

If you go into settings, there should be a setting somewhere that turns off the background, I don't remember exactly what it is, but if you look around a bit, you should find it.
