    Thank you for putting up this video because this is something unknown to well-intentioned and loving cockatiel owners. Also, please, please, get the RIGHT cage for a cockatiel. In minute 3:42, you can see the poor cockatiel passing his head through the cage wires. This can kill your cockatiel if he gets desperate to remove his head and you are not around. That cage is for a larger bird. Also, please note that the best cages for cockatiels are the ones that have horizontal bars that allow them to climb with ease. Thanks and God bless!!! ❤

      About that cage... They (all of them) dont put their head there , except one of them that you've seen it in this video , he's very curious and energetic , ive changed his cage

      @@theamazingcockatiels Thank you for changing that cage. It would be a horrible thing to discover your cutie dead. It happened to someone I knew. When everybody was in bed at night, one of his feet got caught in the wires of the bottom of the cage and trying to rid himself, made it worse and they found him dead the next morning. That's why I always put paper on the floor of the cage on top of the wires. May you and your birdies be safe!!!

      @@robinsydney140 well i saw some died , when they are newborn it doesnt hurt that much , but i lost three of them that i hand fed them since they were 15 days old , and i know how horrible is that feeling. Even one of them i knew it will die because it had some kind of genetically deformed beak that i was sure it would have prevented the bird from eating its natural food , yet i decided to hand feed the bird for ever, but the cutie died early.... I didnt know to be sad or to be happy because it died and wont have a hard time of suffering starvation ,

    Well do you have an air purifer for your birds i know that cockatiel produce powder and other allergens which are not good for people i am also having a bit breathing issues ever since i bought them. What should i do as i cannot invest in an air purifer rn i don't have that amount of money. Can u suggest something please?

    • @theamazingcockatiels
      @theamazingcockatiels  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most of the time opening the window when the birds are in the cage will help you with that.
      But if this doesn't help
      You will need a purifier
      I'm gonna look for other methods, If I find anything,I will let you know by commenting here or making a video about it

    People aren't depressed as well that's why they leave you. You're just awful and bad for their mental health. Ayan yun. Napakabaho mong basura ka, tas napakahirap mo hiwalayan kapag sumibol red flag mo. Di ka pumapayag and I think, that was the hardest one for me.

      If you have just bought your cockatiel , don't worry it will take time.but if it has been a long time he doesn't let you touch him, you need to spend time with him and do some tricks , give him food with your own hand , try to get your finger close to him and his legs very slowly(he will escape in first attempts for sure), you can catch him and put him on your finger(while you have him under your control in your hand)and slowly release your hand and try to pet him , i dont really recommend the last one , but it was successful for me.another way is that you try to find his favorite toy and play with him with his toy.

      @@Neha_bora7 in summers they go through a molting season and start losing all their old feathers and grow new ones, sometimes this happen two times a year ,some breeders use some tricks to force them through it ,except these situations they will lose feathers during their normal time but not too much,ever seven or six days is a lot and i think you are wrong , if you are sure about it and if this situation continued , i think taking him for a check up is a good idea. Your bird doesn't completely trust you , plus , it only has been two weeks . Work with your bird and he will gradually fully trust you.sometimes its hard for some birds to trust their owner and sometimes not,each has their own personality.
      I think if you wait a bit and be patient and work with him , your bird will trust you very soon❤️
