You need to fix the4 closed captiooing. It keeps reading "Dutch Bride" every time the voiceovver says cockatiel. Plus it translates feathered friend as boyfriend

Always remember, a Cockatiel's cage bars should never be further apart than 15mm, if their head can fit between the bars, they can get temporarily stuck and fatally injure themselves. They do not eat 100% seed as most people still believe, they should get a good quality pellet such as Roudybush's "crumble" (which I personally use, I order them from a shop that imports it and we stay in South Africa, so these pellets are not too hard to come by). All pets are expensive and they need to be FULLY researched before buying. Resque centres are flooded with unwanted birds. If one thinks dogs are long term commitments, your Cockatiel friend is capable of reaching beyond 30 years of age, twice that of dogs! Get them a good sized cage, at least 50cm(Depth) x 70cm(W) x 80cm(H) EXCLUDING the stand and provide them with good Avian Veterinary plans/savings. They are truly smart pets and have feelings like cats and dogs and any other Parrot. I have two Cockatiels and they amaze me everyday... they need at least 2 hours hands-on affection from me every day. If you get only one, it should get 5 hours with you per day, sitting with you. It is better to keep their flight feathers trimmed (by a professional) once every 3 months. If one refuses to grant these rights to one's pet, it is better to get a stuffed toy. 😊

Well do you have an air purifer for your birds i know that cockatiel produce powder and other allergens which are not good for people i am also having a bit breathing issues ever since i bought them. What should i do as i cannot invest in an air purifer rn i don't have that amount of money. Can u suggest something please?

Hi I let my cockatiel out of her cage and she stays outside most of the time even sleeping outside on her toy stand only going to cage to eat she can climb in and out of her cage all by herself she is not brave enough yet to explore rest of the house just area near her cage

right now it is almost 30 degree celcius. kind of hot and later it will be 40 celcius plus. should i use fan to cool them down or just give a large bowl with water. please guide i have a total of 12 cockatiels

I recommend you get a bigger cage for your cockatiels as it’s fine for sleeping and eating cage but there is always a time when you have to go outside the house and your bird is stuck in the cage for long amount of time and it should be able to spread its wings,hop around,fly a bit etc.
