The OST still brings tears to my eyes...I'm so excited that we're finally getting this beautiful game remastered. All these years of waiting and it's finally happening...

Underrated RPGs people missed that should be played and are fantastic gaming experiences:Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean, Skies of Arcadia, Golden Sun 1,2, Dragoon, and Vagrant Story
Baten Kaitos Origins, Treasure Of The Rudras, Romancing Saga 3, Resonance Of Fate, Tales Of The Abyss, Chrono Cross
Orion Puritanical Misanthropia Man, Tales of the Abyss is so good. I hate Luke at the beginning, but by the end, he's a really solid character.

I only played half (maybe more) of Tales Of Symphonia and the demo of Tales Of Besteria, and found them really, really boring. Are these titles something like "the black sheeps" of the series or I just have bad taste?
Berseria is actually more story driven and a refined battle system of graces F. It's actually one of the better tales of games, you just got that bad taste.
The memories of this are too much...
What a memorable melody. Motoi Sakuraba should be proud of this one. This composition perfectly encompasses the darkness and drama of this game.

When i went to the oficial Baten Kaitos website back in the days, i fell in love with Dark Conviction theme of that page and the unique characters i saw there, then i bought the game i felt so damn lucky and privileged to have discovered such an amazing game, THAK YOU Monolith Soft and Motoi Sakuraba for this piece of art of a game and this memorable music!!!!!!!!!!......
I've never played this game, but I love the soundtrack.. really wish I could play it :(
play it, try it, download any emulator of nintendo game cube, and then search the game and grab it as well, google it, cheers my english suck, but i try to help you, :)
+MalinMeow this game along with Golden Sun (1 and 2), Skies of Arcadia(find it on Gamecube), Vagrant Story(PS1) and Dragoon(PS1) are some of the best RPG experiences you will EVER have, I really advise you to play them. Underrated and just beautiful games!
Just a heads up (4 years late but better now than never) the voice acting is just awful... painfully so.
@@chazzwozzio Yes, it's quite trash, but the story is really good. Baten Kaitos Origins however has very decent voice acting and the music is just as good.
It is the only game who makes me cry... I was 17 years old in 2005 when I played this magnificent game. A lot of memories...

Beautiful Game with great music, interesting characters and compelling an intriguing story, I agree a true Gem among the rhinestones. There is another gem, just 1 more to me and that is Lost Odyssey. It's the only other decent, great JRPG/ RPG that I've played. Lost Odyssey is another Excellent game.
Baten Kaitos and Lost Odyssey are RPG Flagships in my eyes i loveee them to death in my next vacation ill play them both again and enjoy the shit out of it

Finished it last month.Best soundtrack of the entire OST in my opinion and my second best game ever after Grandia. I cried so much at the end. I'll never forget this wonderful moment.

As a story writer this piece touches me the most because it hits the core element of sadness and courage all in one, which brings me a tear for when I write the emotional duress in any script. When I do, it's this song that comes to mind.

out of the Ps2, XBox and Gamecube Era this was by for the best RPG to come from that generation and this track was bar none the greatest song that generation and has yet to be matched this generation... in some ways im glad its a niche game cause only a handful of quality folks could truelly appreciate its compelling beauty.

this is the only game that made me feel apart of it, when a plot twist happened my heart twisted aswell, no other game has done this to me, this was by far a masterpeice. and even thought I would love to see a second game in the UK, Im scared in case it ruins how great this one was.
This song was always my favorite in Baten Kaitos. No other can compare to it (to me, anyways). It gives a feeling of calm and peace, something rare in a song. Baten Kaitos holds so many good memories for me, as well as bad (i.e getting defeated by the bosses), but it was also the very first game I had that made me save various files to watch certain scenes over and over again.
Whoever hates this game probably doesn't know what a true RPG should be like. It should be everything Baten Kaitos is

Monado thebeggining Definately agree. Baten Kaitos, Golden Sun and Xenoblade.All better than Final Fantasy imo, and way more underated unfortunately cause people's taste is horrible and controlled easily by the advertisers.

@NeutralDrow There is a way - but it requires a lot of time sadly. If you get the Shampoo card it tells you to try it for a week and you'll have beauiful hair - if you hold the card for a week in game time all the songs get unlocked for you as the shampoo card turns into a beautiful hair card (I think)
Don't know what version choose as better. This orchestred one has more shades, more instruments, but the ethnic version es awesome too. I want to crie when i listen to this...

I played the prequal loved it, found this first game thought it was a sequel and struggled with the combat system, stomping Giacamo in origin started to feel waay better after losing to the jerk so much in the actual first game...
This is my favorite game of all times, I know games like Zelda, Mario and Metroid are great, but with music like this, amazing story that made me laugh and cry and a very entertaining gameplay, this game is the best of them all! I can't wait until they do a third Baten Kaitos, maybe a sequel of the first game?
This game is not worth any amount of money--it's priceless. If it were a book I'd say it should be required reading in school xD

The story, the music, the character and the voices, combat system. everything is perfect.
There only three games I really like the english/american voices.
1.)Castlevania - Symphony of the night
2.)Tales of Symphonia 1 (Kratos ^_^)
3.)Baten Kaitos EWLO (origins or how it`s called is not as good as this one ^^ I played it for a while and was very disappointed)

Very much so. We need several, in fact. For all the games that Final Fantasy has made, the two Baten Kaitos games beat them all. At least that's my opinion.

@fuzyy1994 Sorry, but it does. The music varies exceptionally, and no one on earth can say they don't like the entire soundtrack. It's too varied.
For me, it's pieces like this one, the ones that exude strength, grace and mystique that really draw my attention, making my mind wander in the miracles of the world of Baten Kaitos. These pieces are amongst the best pieces of music I know, and it really makes me dislike people who feel that music from a game isn't real music.
Wow, the intro sounds just like Ramza's theme, after that it becomes amazing though.
Wonderful. It's a shame that the intro is of such a lower volume, you can't listen to it in peace if you turn up the volume because you know that within the next ten seconds your ears are going to be blown off by the main part of the song. And if you turn down the volume, you can't hear it...
I gotta say it, I choose Baten Kaitos over Tales of Symphonia.
It was a bad choice at first because of combat, but it just gets better and better., the music and story is OUTTA 🌎

I love a lot of the music, but I think it could have been improved by having a few more tracks. I like it better when I can attribute certain music to each town and sometimes individual bosses (probably got that from Tales games!) and BK doesn't really do that, except for mixing up the themes a little with the bosses. That said, I LOVE Chaotic Dance and Rumbling of the Earth!!! ...The music in BK reminds me so much of SO3...
