I love these Cubs so much. I hadn't watched baseball for many, many years (since the late 1960s), but when Morel came up last year, it caught my notice and as I started watching here on TH-cam, I captured by the personality and skills of the entire Cubs team and organization. So many great players, all being supportive and rooting for each other. Playing better all the time. Great fans,too. I realize I don't have any longterm claim on them, but the Cubs are now and will be my team from here on out.

I love how this team has had 2 or 3 different guys at a time getting hot and carrying the team for a little while all summer.
They may not have any 40 HR 115 RBI guys on this roster, but 6 or 7 guys around 70-85 RBI is a pretty balanced and flexible lineup without a lot gaping holes.

Even if they don't go far...because of the Braves and Dodgers this year really surprised me at most. I really thought it wasn't going to be this good. Although I believe Tallion should be placed in the bullpen if they get through a wild card spot. He really needs work and the bullpen is the only answer for him if Stroman is or not coming back this year

This is a really fun team and I really hope that they continue to win because their effort and talent is there..just need to keep the bullpen strong.. I love their chances..Palatine pounder?
