i love how even tony kemp himself is surprised with his play😂😂
especially with his height. i'm an A's fan, btw.

I always love that Eric Byrnes play and call. That is Rick Rizzs, the Mariners radio play by play guy. I love just how hyped he is for an opposing player's great play.
If you look at where Byrnes jumps and where he catches the ball, his catch is the most impressive in my opinion
That last Jim Edmonds catch: full sprint/over the head/ dive is the greatest catch of all time.
The last one by the third baseman is the same but bare handed
Agreed
I was at that game. Right there in center. Broke my heart. But was awesome to see
Video has them in the correct order. Edmonds's catch is #2, but Wright's is #1 for doing it bare-handed.
Catch against Astros was better than both tbh. Jimmy had a ton to choose from though tbh.
Keiermaier is the Craig Biggio out the outfield. Just loves playing the game
Man I miss baseball April come sooner!
That Byrnes catch is incredible. He was ON THE WAY DOWN on the dive? What? wow...
4:12 Andrew Benintendi, 2018 ALCS Game 4, game-saver in the bottom of the ninth. 😎
What an incredible moment. The significance is staggering. If the ball gets by him, the Astros easily win the game, as the Red Sox would have had no hope of stopping the runner scoring from 1st. One really has to appreciate those moments where an entire game teeters on a knifepoint, especially when it's a playoff game.
That guy that went headfirst into the wall was very fortunate. Because he could have easily suffered severe injuries flying headfirst into the wall like that. Knowing he was ok though cause me to laugh because it looks funny even though it was painful
Jim Edmonds is the GOAT.
Ozzie Smith playing for the Padres. Lays out to his left ball hops, barehanded. Never seen a better play. Simple as that.
Should have included Juan Lagares doing a forward dive, flipping the ball up with his glove and catching his own flip. I saw that one on TV in real time, and still can't believe he did it.
These kinds of catches are quite frequent in cricket and with bare hands too.
Para mí es el mejor deporte del mundo ...luego viene el ciclismo ...y fútbol ...Pero el béisbol es único ...
Es de calma y explosivo ...con toda en segundos ...bárbaro
How in the world does Jim Edmonds track a baseball with his back to the ball?? That dude is the greatest defensive CF EVER.
He has some of my favorite outfield catches of all time! His catches are insane!
🐐
Andruw Jones might have something to say about that.
Great catches
3:35 Now that was dangerous, he could've injured his neck. 😬
Just wanna say I caught a diving catch in the tournament today and got a arm full of road rash but it's worth it... Now I'm here watching diving catches
All of these were great especially the no hitters. The announcers made them even more hyped up.
Waiting for the next video! 👍
The Red Sox stupidly trade away their best fielders
There is a difference between a laying down catch and a diving catch
720p…. Why. Life is pain.
Average slump experience:
Beautiful catching wow 😮
If this is going back to the Jim Edmonds days......why is there no Griffey Jr here?
"increasingly" the title says.. feels more like random order to me
Cuantaas emociones y casi todas las vi en su momento.
Polyester; the magic armor of athletes.
No Andruw Jones, Kenny Lofton, Ken Griffey Jr., Bo Jackson...?
Only one Byron button clip is crazy
Props to the batters they don’t get anof credit look at these hot
You need to watch some diving cricket catches.
I already know every player is getting out in this video but I was hoping was a homerun
No andruw jones? Come on
I love baseball, but you guys should see some catches made by those who play cricket.
Mookie bets
Soy español hijo nieto bisnieto de españoles pero me encanta este deporte
Try doing that without gloves #Cricket
These guys are the difference between ball players and guys who just play baseball, pro or otherwise
atleast they got gloves..
Is that guys hair anime purple?
Excelenteeeeeee!!!!!!!
i don't think they are increasingly insane...
Highlight reel catch...
Jim Edmonds tho
I can show you over 10 000 cricket catches better than the best baseball catch.I guess thats why baseball is not considered a competitive sport outside USA
It’s like Nascar, terrible to watch and only Americans like it, but the highlights are epic and everyone can enjoy it.
Screaming does not make the catch better.
It's a lot easier wearing a HUGE glove. Similar catches are made in cricket without a glove.🏏
Doesn’t matter, still crazy
it's a different sport who cares lol.
cry bout it
Am I the only one who thinks that David Wright's catch is overrated ?
Anyway, the rest of the list is pretty much in perfect order, imo.
Catching is easy with those massive gloves. Cricket catches are much more impressive and skillful
Nice
After watching cricket this looks easy
Fair trade off we use gloves you guys use a bat about times as thick
@@GARBO96we're talking about the catches not the bats. in cricket we do that bare handed mate.
@@alexwilliams4264 that's why I said it's a fair trade-off we use gloves you guys use a thicker bat do you not understand what a trade-off means😂
@@alexwilliams4264 by me saying we use gloves that's insinuating that cricket doesn't use gloves I'm sorry you're reading comprehension is a little bit too low
@@GARBO96 dude I played cricket for over 40 years we use gloves to bat and the wicket keeper uses gloves the other 10 guys fielding don't wear gloves mate. I think you better watch some great cricket catches compilation and then see how good baseball catches with gloves are compared to cricket without gloves. Oh and cricket balls are a bit harder than baseballs.
not one catch is in the top 50 cricket catches hehe, and yes they do it without that thing in hands
Increíble
Cricket catches are more hardcore
Cured me🎉. Thanks.
Los que ponen a darle like en los vídeos son estafadores tengo pruebas pero el TH-cam no me deja subirla
2nd guy reminded me so bad of this lil fk boi i played with.. Dive was not necessary one bit
Can’t believe mlb ripped off that one nba channel that does this.
😂 cricketers do it with bare hands.
Cricketers will catch your balls with bare hands.
imagine wearing jewelry in a sports match 🤡
Jackie Bradley Jr. was a wild man on the baseball field.
As a brit i know nothing about baseball but i know a great catch when i see one & that video was packed with them. Awesome.
Only thing you need to know is that these players saved their teams from bad situations lol
You should start watching baseball. It's such a beautiful sport. 🙂♥️
@@ew7512 I'd defintely give it a try but all the tv coverage is behind tv pay walls here in the uk. But i know your sport has some incredible athletes in it. I always watch the plays of the week they show over here on the bbc sport website but thats all we get unless we shell out about £46 ($60) a month for sky who have the tv rights.
2nd to last diving catch is WILDLY impressive.
The fact he was running away from the ball as it fell and only has a split second of it in his view before he has to react and reach out to catch it…..
Incredibly done. Bravo 👏
Probably the best catch I've ever seen in baseball. Absolutely incredible.
no harrison bader is a hate crime.
And no Tucker vs angels to end the game
no Cedric Mullins catch vs royals
Fax
Who?
Fr
Strange how I just love these baseball compilations but can't stay awake an entire game 😅
Skill issue
Dear baseball, I love you❤
Edmonds catch against the Royals. Saw it live. Best I have ever seen.
none of these commentators have obviously seen any catches in cricket
On god bro these cricket players do this every game
In America, crickets are for fishing.
Cricket?
And none of the cricket commentators haven't seen these catches in baseball. 😊
No one cares about cricket.
Extremely professional!! They fly like Superman.
That catch by Andrew Benintendi was on a whole new level
Wouldn't say it was the most impressive strictly on an athletic level, but the timing of the play absolutely catapults it up in terms of greatness. He misses that ball, they probably lose the game and the momentum of that entire series shifts.
No Andruw Jones plays? His insane diving catch that ended a game that would have scored winning runs beats all of these.
Ya'll are crazy the catch at second by Tony Kemp was the best, no doubt.
You need to watch Graig Nettles on 3rd base.
That Jim Edmonds over the head diving catch while he was on the angels is a core memory for me.
I sat through 5 adverts to watch this, MLB. Stop.
Yeah what is that about?
Surprised Riley Greene from Detroit isn't in there. He's made some massive diving catches also.
The catch by Andrew Benintendi at 4:13 is one of the many highlights of the 2018 Red Sox Championship Run!!!
I wish they’d included the radio call though-Joe Castiglione literally fell out of his chair calling that play and hardly missed a beat. What a moment that was.
No ben revere on the phillies catch is insane. Literally the only thing that has ever competed with jim edmond's catch
Should of shown the great Willie May's fench jump catch. It was the best.
Commentator takes a slice of bread at breakfast..
"WOW! THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST, I'VE EVER SEEN!"
🤣
Top comment right here.
I mean, in their defense, have you ever had bread though?
3:20 Someone I played ball with is paralized now because of this kind of dive. Not worth it at all, but I know it's hard to stop instinct
I can't see the 2nd Jim Edmonds catch enough. The guy who dove into the wall... WOW!!
Kemp's reaction is the best reaction EVER.
I'm a biased Rays fan, but one that isn't on here that I think should be and never gets talked about is Sam Fuld robbing Juan Pierre of a potential inside-the-park grand slam.
Watched Edmonds do this at nearly every game in Busch Stadium.
For me, the Kemp catch at 2nd is the best. Wow.
Quer bello es este deporte! quien ha jugado beisbol sabe de lo que hablo. Saber el grado de complejidad en estos niveles profesionales es sencillamente increíble!
Love hearing Jon Miller on the calls!
3:30 Did Davis get injured from that play? Does anyone know
Cricket players does it without the glouse broo
Just when you think you've seen it all, you watch Cricket catches with bare hands instead of baseball 😂
Howcome the ball floats so long up in the air? Assume it's bcos it's big and on the soft side? Also notice when the ball is hit off the club it tends to go high up, can it not be hit for a flat home run?I've played with a few baseballs it must be hard to hit something so soft for a six, and the hitting surface area of the club is fairly small
A genuine question here. Example there's a runner on 3rd base. If the hitter is caught in the deep, but that 3rd base runner makes it to home base.. does that count as a base. Or does that runner have to return to the base?
kudos to all the players who jump and fall on fake grass with ciment under it. i remember in the montreal olympic stadium they had that and players always complained about how hard it was when they fell
No Andruw Jones? Chucky Carr? Dang.
Wow...no Aaron Hicks to end the best game of 2019. Talk about a snub.
Try it without those fancy baseball gloves, watch some cricket catches no “gloves” there catches.
Professional cricketers must laugh at there big catching mitts 😂
