What I have done with sentimental things that belonged to my grandparents both sides and my parents since they are all deceased and I had no way to put all of these things in my modest mobile home is I took photos of all of them and made a memory scrapbook so that I can look at them whenever I want and they aren't actual items taking up space. I journaled things with the photos to tell the meaning that went with them.

When you look at items you declutter that are basically brand new, and feel the regret for what you spent - remember it’s money already spent. Sometimes reselling works, but if you don’t have the time, patience and space to do so, it is not worth it. That money is already gone - you can’t get it back. Getting rid of that clutter really helps you mentally in my opinion.

You will do a kind act of service by calling a women’s shelter, etc and seeing if you can just give it to a family, or even offering to your friends on FB.
All I can say is “WOW!” You did a fabulous job. You could entertain your entire neighborhood down there OR a complete living quarters. The sky is the limit as to what the future holds for this space❣️❣️

Wow, that would be a big project to redo the basement but sure enough the space is great to develop and grow as your kids do, the 3rd bedroom, the entertaiment room and gym sound perfect.

I have no idea what they were and if it was yours or not, but I always take that motivation when it's clothes or nicer paper clutter like magazines/catalogues as I also struggle with those.
I loved I mean loved this whole basement declutter series I enjoyed every minute of it the best one I ever seen was yours u got rid of so much u was not joking when u was getting rid of it you going to be doing any other deciutter series anywhere else I love ur decor hauls ur home is beautifully styled n u do an amazing job at it u take time for ur home love when u decorate for holiday especially christmas I enjoyed last Christmas decor haul n the way u displayed it

I watched a declutter series recently. I didn't watch all of it but I think that I did watch the last episode. They had a missing shoe somewhere earlier and even unto the last day they did not find it. This was a whole house declutter and a smaller place but it was baffling that they could not find it.
I have a feeling alot of stuff was hard to get rid of as you have kids and that you have woofs as well. I bet you hope to find a bigger place soon. Hopefully you was able to keep things you wanted to keep
