I have more than one favorite. My grandson Justin had his wedding. It was so beautiful. His wife is the sweetest young woman and of course the rest of the family was there. Getting to spend time with my family is the best thing I can experience at this stage of life. I also had two great granddaughters arrive in the past3 weeks and I'll be spending time with them Saturday. I can hardly wait. I have5 sons and they have the best wives that a mom could ever want for their sons. I have19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren now. I am truly blessed. I don't have kids but I like pasta or rice salads for my own pet lunches. I cook a batch of pasta or rice (usually a week's worth), cook up chicken in my air fryer (changing marinates weekly), put in some deforested pea, sweetcorn, carrot and been veg mix and some finish with a yummy sauce - sweet chili, mayo and mustard, mayo and ketchup or if I want to be super healthy - sour cream dip (homemade) or greek yogurt dip (also homemade). The weekly change of the marinate for the chicken, alternating pasta and rice and changing sauces helped massively - I've been going for a year like this and I'm still not tired of it.
I’m so glad their school days went well. Having the lights and outlet taken care of is so nice to see too! I suppose next we just need to see the formal dining room and your bedroom getting their makeovers. I hope you’re doing well. I’m definitely motivated to get stuff done after this video! ♥️🫶🏻
For lunch ideas...my middle son loves soup so any time I make soup I will use it a couple days for his lunches. He also loves noodles in different versions. He likes butter noodles, he likes spaghetti and meatballs, and he like it when I put toasted sesame oil on the noodles and add some chicken in there. Bean burritos and are easy idea. If you heat it then wrap in foil it stays slightly warm. My kids also love chicken nuggets in the thermos. One family favorite meal that saves well for lunches is sausage with cheese tortellini in chicken broth. I'm also a teacher and I've seen parents just send a huge variety of things: flavored rice, pancakes, waffles, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, etc. So many ideas. Anything to keep them full is good. You're doing great mama!

I live in Ontario just east of Toronto on the th floor of an apt in the city and we also wasps this year. I went on line and found out they do not like citronella or peppermint so I was constantly burning candles and springling peppermint extract. Worded well for the most part.
Summer def went fast !! My fav memory - just waking up when we wanted to and not as routine as we are for the school year !! Just going to the boardwalk, aquarium and spending family time w my husband and kids !
Our summer was spent at the hospital. My daughter's bone marrow transplant was successful, and she proudly rang the survivors bell . So I think this was the best summer of all.🎉 Love coffee bars, I wander how we ever lived before having them . LoL
Wasps sting ... we normally have so many of them each year here in germany. But this year we had sooo many hornets, it was crazy! 😮 I heard that when you have many hornets, then you're not really having wasp problems, because the hornets kill the wasps. No idea if that's true and also no idea where the hornets are, when we're having so many wasps! 😅 I really prefer bees and bumblebees, they're so friendly! ❤ My two daughters also got stung three times, all in one day by wasps. You can cut an onion in half and put it on the area, that got stung - it helps! 😊
My fav summer memory is showing my nephew how to manage money make sales and profit from it n now he’s at school asking candy making money proud aunty 😊❤. Also starting my MG treatments helping rebuild my immune system and muscles from my disease attacking each other I haven’t felt this good in years.

I usually do sandwhiches for My kids lunches but sometimes I'll make homemade lunchables for them. Or I'll give leftovers if I have a bunch extra. Sides r usually on the junk side. (Rice krispie, fruit snacks, chips, things like that) but I also will pack cheese sticks and fruit too

My kiddos loved home made potato wedges with hummus and other home made dips and veggies. Healthy, cheap and easy if you bulk make the wedges and freeze them and the dips. I'd also bake cookies and put them in individual bags so they looked liked they came from the bakers, they loved them. Also soup with a dinner roll was a hit.
I like the new things in the kitchen❣️ I live in Texas, USA. We’ve had no more wasps than usual but we have had many more of those tiny gnats. They drive me crazy!!
My favorite part of summer is always the last day! 😮 I prefer Fall and Winter. My second favorite was having my girls home from school all summer (5th & 11th grade). 😊😊
Yes! Weve had such a problem with wasps. My husband would take down 3-4 hives and then a couple days later there will be 3 more in different spots!! Weve been at this house for 3 years and we maybe saw 1-2 nests for the whole summer and now were seeing 1-2 a day!
Hi Aleah we’ve had a bad problem with bees this summer . My son was cleaning my flower bed out for me and there was a nest of yellow jackets in the ground he got stung several times. We’re still trying to get rid of them. Thanks for the great video and motivation. 💕
We haven’t had a lot of wasps this year in Ontario, but I found a lot more fruit flies and mosquitoes! I agree with Greyson sandwiches are not awesome after sitting in a lunchbox for a bit, maybe he might like a homemade lunchable? Ritz crackers (or whatever crackers you prefer), cheese and the preferred meat. If he likes more hot lunches Kraft dinner is a quick easy one to make and toss in the thermos, alongside any kind of pasta, chicken nuggets (place a paper towel at the bottom helps them not to be too moist), mini microwave pizza can be cut up and placed in there as well!
We had a a lot more wasps than normal too. I got stung by one that was hiding in the door handle of my car. When I went to open the car door it got me. I screamed, cried, everything you can think of! Now I check my car door before getting in!
I’m w you w the clutter & STUFF !! We don’t really need it but want it !!! I declutter often too! Probably 4 times a year if not 5! My friends laugh bc they’re like you’re always donating so what else is there to go through 😂

In Australia, most schools have uniforms so our kids definitely don't need as many clothes. Do you just have a few sets of clothes that are school only? When kids wear a uniform you generally only get 2 or 3 sets so if you did the same thing with normal clothes it would cut down so much on what they need especially as they are out growing everything so quickly.

My 11 year old son doesn’t like lunch meat. So he takes elbow macaroni (cold) and lots of fruit. My two daughters take macaroni & the one takes crackers w ham on it and the other beef sticks cut up. All get fruit w their lunch.
