I think I know a quality performance when I see and hear one !What makes a good music performance: the dicipline, the hours of practice, the physical make up the vocal cords and the brath control. All this but above all the singers musicality and passion.Dan and Rhen Stillnight attain the expression to the highst level ! Thank you for your great reaction ! 😊
It was so beautiful!!! Dan nailed again. I would like to see him singing Core'Ngrato and Amapola. It would be wonderful 🤩. Thank you Daniel, I always enjoy seeing your reactions and analysis ;)
I love how Dan always stays in character - portraying the emotional meaning of the song from first to last. Thanks for another wonderful reaction to The Man of a Thousand Voices!
Great reaction as always! :) I'm hoping you will react to Hallelujah Chorus (one man choir) soon as we are coming up on the Christmas season. Also, his Christmas covers are all amazing!
Rehn is a matal singer and vocal coach from Northern Italy, Dan is in Brazil. This makes the harmonies all the more remarkable. It is possible that Rehn was doing her best to emulate Sarah Brightman, who is an opera type West Ender from the UK, which may be a possible explaination for her techique. I'm also speculating that there may be slight dialectical differences in various regions of Italy.
I agree with you. I’m Italian and there are many different dialects depending on what part of Italy you are from. Dan doesn’t even speak Italian and yet he sings it perfectly.
Have you ever thought that the singers are doing THEIR version and not a carbon copy of the original? It would be so boring if everyone sounded the same and sang the notes exactly as you would prefer! Having been a fan of Dan's and his various occasional singing partners for quite a while, I think I would know what I like and frankly, sometimes your criticisms are way over the top over something so miniscule. Such a big deal is made out of nothing which is rather irritating and just messes up a beautiful performance!
I agree with you, I don't like when artists sound the same and enjoy various musical interpretations. There are certain elements of music that are important to me when I listen to pieces, and I will comment on those things. I, like most, if not all, people, listen to music with my own preferences and biases. However, I think I do a decent job still committing to what I always have, which is offering praise and critique when deemed appropriate. I'm not attacking what you should or shouldn't like and have never implicated such. All these videos are me offering a professional's perspective. I can absolutely dislike a piece in its entirety (which is not this piece) and still recognize that some people love it, and that's great! I don't need to like something for that piece to still sound beautiful or create a lasting impact on others. I'm just one guy with an opinion and years of musical education and experience. Obviously, my word isn't law lol
Its a beautiful redition, don't really care about what you think is wrong with her interpretation. Its beautiful nonetheless. I usually love watching you react but this time not so much
Unfortunately, my reaction videos will not be all praise. I go into each video with an open mind and heart but can't stray away from my own preferences and biases. Whilst I can enjoy elements, I still will give praise or criticism when deemed appropriate, and there were more moments where I could offer criticism this time round. I still offer praise in the several elements I enjoyed, but I'll stay true to myself and give my honest thoughts. That doesn't mean you shouldn't like the piece any less, though. I'm just one professional with his own opinion and stance on music. If a piece moves you and doesn't move me, that's okay, I'm sincerely glad you found more beauty in the piece than I did =)
I love that Dan is smiling all the way throughout the song, you can really tell how much Dan loves to sing. Thank you for your reaction.

I love this one- thanks for your reaction. You always explain why I like a particular song. Carry on reacting!
You are very good at what you do! And I like your haircut!!! A beautiful song!
Ren Stillnight is Italian.

Yes, very 'clean' thanks to engineering and software. Wonder how they would sound au naturel
