    Sweet rig, just a fun thought. I’d create a defuser grate to slide in on the bottom or middle also. Now it could be an indirect cooker haha. Maybe a slab of sheet metal with cuts on the side? Idk. Then you could cook anything with it

      Yes, that should be easy. But I’m happy with it as-is, if so need indirect cooking I’ll just fire up my offset smoker instead 👍

    Really interesting video. It’s a hybrid really, with many different uses. As with all “jack of all trades”, there will be tinkering before you get it to wotk exactly the way you want it. Appreciate you sharing the plans. If I was a handy guy I would build one myself too. Did you notice any major taste differences from you other BBQ’s?

      Thanks, I noticed there was no (wood) smoke flavor, but that was 100% expected. These ribs didn’t render out much fat or juices, so I’m betting my hat that I will get more “fat smoke” when I cook my first pork butt in it.
