Hi my friend! I want to modify my boat yamaha sx192 2014. Install tuning riva and impeller solas, a choice of three points 14/21 or 13/22 or 14/23. Tell me which propeller should I take, taking into account the weight of the boat, please.
SO now all the fumes from the engine will go into the hull of your ski also if fitted above the exhaust manifold if it drips oil on to the hot manifold you have a fire hazard plus a smelly hull
Except the exhaust manifolds are water jacketed and many hundreds of these have been sold with thousands of successful hours run. That said, catch can is definitely a better way to go.
French Frys i ended up draining all the oil out of it and filling it to factory specs and haven’t seen the problem since the dealer i went to to get a oil change over filled it
Can someone tell me what size the I.D of the tube is?

Will this work on a 2014 vx cruiser since it ain’t a high output engine
Great video, gents. Nice clear explanations.
It works for a Yamaha fx svho cruiser 2021? Thanks
Yes
Why didn't you secure the hose under the brackets?
Chris Chris it fits over and keeps away from exhaust manifold.
PWC Muscle ok it looks like it would hit the cover

Just wondering how much of a oil mess in the hull should I expect or will the filter capture it all? Thanks, love all your videos
Kirk M thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate it. The filter catches it all.
No mess, it catches it all. Thanks for the love!
I got a catch can with the breather and for some reason the oil is splashing through the filter all into my engine need help please
@@martys8196 You have too much oil in it
French Frys i ended up draining all the oil out of it and filling it to factory specs and haven’t seen the problem since the dealer i went to to get a oil change over filled it
Does this add any horse power ?
No, it is vent crank case to atmosphere rather than back through the intake
Better to use with a catch can
Svho don’t require catch cans like seadoos
nice!
The breather so close to hot air n engine. Doesn't make sense.
The breather allows positive crank case pressure to vent. It is not an air intake.
Dangerous mod at PWC
Install an Oil Catch Can is better and safe option
