I have the kit used in this video, and noticed three fitment issues that need to be either addressed or clarified by Riva. 1.) The bracket bolt supplied is too short to use the supplied fender washer and split washer when attaching the bracket to the lord mount. 2.) The silicone coupler has to pull down too much when being tightened to the velocity stack. Either the silicone coupler is too short, or the velocity stack should have been a larger diameter to match the diameter of the silicone coupler. 3.) the lord mount threads are too long to properly mount (flush) into the brass threads of the power filter tube. I have emailed Riva support and am awaiting their response.

What I heard from Riva (promptly I should add):
      1. The Fender washer goes on the stud in the lord mount used to attach the L bracket on inlet tube a to the rear engine lift eye.
I still say the supplied bolt it too short. I will not use the split washer and use the larger washer and loc-tite.
      2. Inlet tube A fits over the reduced OD portion of the velocity stack and
the silicone coupler fits over inlet tube A.
Note: When dry fitting, I found if I cleaned up the inside of the power filter tube, the part fit together appropriately. I used the sharp edge of the velocity stack to scrape the inside of the tube "clean" and add a bit of a taper to allow a smoother fit. Doing this and keeping the hose clamps loose helped it come together as intended.
The length of the threads of the isolation mount is too long. I will shorten (grinder) the length so it snugs up appropriately to the tube mount.
      I hope this helps others...

Thanks for the update! We didn't experience this issue on our install so we reached out to Riva regarding the issue on Friday and were hoping they'd post or call by today...guess they got you sorted quickly. Let us know if you need anything else!

I'm good. After a quick email exchange with Riva, it was determined the bolt supplied with my kit was not the correct length (20mm). Riva has promptly sent me the correct bolt at no cost.

PWC Muscle Awesome thanks ! I bought a ski with a bunch of mods that I don’t really need - Anyway to quiet the rear exhaust from riva ? I know that’s kinda counter productive but maybe they offer a flap or something that would bring it down a bit in the loud department.. thanks !

What size were the 4 bolts holding the air box?

When I screw the bracket into the top of the bushing I have so much thread from the screw left over and I can’t make it any tighter, only 2 screws came in the package and the other one is even longer is it possible they gave me the wrong screw?

Always possible. Might want to trim the screw or source a new one to prevent too much play.

Is that kind of filter safe enough to prevent water entering the engine, especially in rough seas??

They have a prefilter available as well. If you have THAT much water in your hull, though, you likely have other issues.

Does it make the supercharger louder ? How can I make the supercharger louder when on boost

It does make it slightly louder. We sell upgraded impellers on PWCMuscle.com which will help you get louder as well.

Is there a photo or picture of somewhere I can see where it shows how far the filter pokes forward? Reason why I ask is because i'm wondering if you remove that plastic piece with the plastic thumb screws in front of it where the hood is on the other side.

What about removing the filter to clean it - Is that needed? i've tried to get mine off many times and it seems like you could have to remove the entire thing to make that happen-
    thanks

It isnt really a filter that requires cleaning. It is a very loose mesh and only the prescreen should ever need to be washed. It really prevents anything from being ingested rather than filter the air. Car filters get dirty because of the dirt on the roads...not quite the same issues on the water!

I guess all air filters can be called a "power" filter.

That's just what Riva brands theirs.
