It is a gorgeous area. I really like Hyde Park, and took all my runs, walks and bike rides on beautiful Bayshore Blvd. I love the proximity to downtown, and all the diverse architecture styles and tree-lined streets. It is the best area in Tampa, imho. I do not know some of the other South Tampa neighborhoods you mentioned, but I have seen Harbor and Davis Islands, too, but perhaps, they are not considered South Tampa. Nice 5-minute tour! This is Tampa's time to shine!
