TG has been beating a dead horse before Chris even came. However I haven't watched the show for a while, only been watching CHoC and CHD, so I don't know if the new seasons have changed anything other than hosts. I'm just glad they let him continue his internet stuff.

You saw him walk into the warehouse of cars here and he could tell you everything about every car. I doubt any other LeMans driver has this ability.

THAT E28 though!!! I LOVED my E28 528i. I was 19 when I bought it and for me, because it felt so special compared to the 309/205 GTi's and Fords (SuperSport and XR2's)....I still think it might be the best car I've ever owned. Certainly the most special to me
The E82 for me is almost motoring perfection and is the best thing I have ever driven. A true future classic and to me personally, the last true BMW. As Chris said, the combination of more automation and BMW now shifting the front end looks more akin to a South Korean car (Kia, Hyundai etc) just makes the E82 that little bit more special.
That man's ability to smoothly cross a car up on the edge like that, while gabbling away about specifications is quite uncanny. His car control is beautiful!
As a M car owner it's a rare treat I agree. Except the the title should read brilliant BMW/Alpina/M cars and.....a Lexus tossed in for shits and giggles.
Impressed that when you lean on a car with your hands you pull/slide your hand to be covered by the sweater to keep hand grease from getting on the paint. I’ve NEVER noticed anyone else that thoughtful of car paint not even Jay Leno. Nicely done !
32:48 In my experience most BMW's have a problem with the seating position. My E46 M3 sits too high. My old E90 335i was the same and so was my E36 325i and others I've had the pleasure to drive. I know I could put in after market seats but I still love and NEED my heated seats (Calgary, Canada all season daily) with the lumbar support. I am 6'4 but Chris is a man of race car driver stature and he says the same thing. Maybe there are heated seats that have a lower mounting set up or something but I haven't seen any.

Re the Lexus you get used to all the controls very quickly once Uve had the car for a while then it becomes almost 2nd nature as a owner of a gs 450h f sport. Also he’s right it’s nice to know you have the speed minus the savagery of a random rear kick out to end up in a bush manageable liner power build up is more predictable as a proper driver if you know you know.

I'm glad to see I have the same taste in cars as Chris Harris 😊. I absolutely adore older BMW's, especially ALPINA. They are without a doubt my favorite dream cars. E21 B6 2.8, E30 B6 3.5, E28 B9 3.5 etc...
One thing I found super awesome on a BMW M5 was after I got after it and thought I hit the floor I pushed a little harder and felt like I clicked some kind of button at the base. Then once engaged it seemed to hunker down and stiffen the revs jumped and it went into top speed mode and turned into an animal.
Chris you have the best job in the world, your one of the reasons i bought my 14 Fiesta ST, I still have it with 95,000 miles on it with a Cobb stage 2 tune and sticky Michelin pilot sport tires, short shift kit and many visual mods, I’m on my 6th set of tires, I love driving on three wheels. Hey chris the n55 in the M2 also has forged pistons and oil pump and pan from the M3 M4 ? And also the same dual clutch. I have an M2 and i love it! I want to keep it forever. I make a lot of videos of my M2

You don’t have forged pistons in the N55, they’re hypereutectic cast. Sorry to tell you. You have newer piston rings and finally got forged connecting rods and crank though. Definitely an upgrade, but still an N55 lol

I wouldn't prefer either one. I prefer the E92 335i all week long, and twice on Sunday's!!!! But I love that color on the M2. Both of these cars are very nice, and you can't go wrong with either one. But it's fun to watch them mess about on the track.

BMW is simply... Breathless, but they almost if not spoilt the M2 due to the weight.. Come on BMW, this is your best platform as yet, also BMW should build a 1 series M (as it should be called) give it +400hp to rival the 45s..dont make the engine transverse, why not make an inline 4 and give it 40% front and 60% back, would'nt this be amazing? So the badge will be 1Ms and be called 1seriesM (you heard it here, first)
As a BMW fan, yes I admit it, this was a brilliant piece of film. M2 is my dream daily. Small enough to park anywhere, but still hooligan enough to scare you silly. I wish I could stretch the funds to one ! I'll have to make do with my M140i M-Lite I guess hahah, a bit faster than an M2 after a remap, but not quite as track focussed of course.
I can’t wait for a vid with Chris and the M2 CS but I feel sorry for the camera man if there is one in that car because they’ll almost certainly be sick by the end 😆

But please if you are going to release a video with car comparisons at least have the latest version of the cars....You used the old M5 rather than distinctly better new one.
BMW is simply... Breathless, but they almost if not spoilt the M2 due to the weight.. Come on BMW, this is your best platform as yet, also BMW should build a 1 series M (as it should be called) give it +400hp to rival the 45s..dont make the engine transverse, why not make an inline 4 and give it 40% front and 60% back, would'nt this be amazing? So the badge will be 1Ms and be called 1seriesM (you heard it here, first)

As a BMW fan, yes I admit it, this was a brilliant piece of film.
M2 is my dream daily. Small enough to park anywhere, but still hooligan enough to scare you silly. I wish I could stretch the funds to one !
I'll have to make do with my M140i M-Lite I guess hahah, a bit faster than an M2 after a remap, but not quite as track focussed of course.
