Scotty the voting machines broke again in Arizona and PA, how are we gonna change the direction we are going if the machines keep mysteriously breaking in states that decide important pieces of the elections
I went to Honda last month and they wanted a $5000 market price adjustment on top of list price + other things! I got up and told the salesman that I was going to adjust myself out of here!!🤣
Do not buy a honda with the 1.5 liter with a the turbo in cold weather driving. Engine is to small and can not get to operating temp in stop and go driving with the heater on max. You will end up oil dilution and water vapour from the engine in the crankcase. You know what happens in below freezing temperatures you end up with ice in the oil pan. I have the honda crv with 1.5 turbo.
@@m109r Yeah I saw videos on TH-cam of the temperature gauge literally going down if you're idling. It's also not like he was in the arctic in below freezing temps
I spent the day looking for a 2023 rav4 woodland edition. The car is essentially a base xle hybrid with trd tuned suspension and larger, more aggressive tire. Most dealerships I called didn’t even get an allocation. The ones that did after all the questions and back and forth, “oh by the way, there’s a 5000 markup”. I would respond with, “thanks for letting me know ,that way I can write it down and remember to never do business with you”. After 17 calls I finally found one, in the color that I wanted, and at msrp. Don’t pay these ridiculous, bogus prices.
@@richsweeney1115 not in this market environment. The used ones were more expensive than new and I was able to buy at msrp. Wouldn’t have entertained it if the Audi didn’t blow a gasket. So like many people, I was forced into a bad situation but despite that, we were patient and didn’t overpay. Our purchase prices was 3,800 below the nation average at the time of sale.
@@obsoletecd-rom yes, you are. Because its goin to crash at some.point. its not going to stay high. So ,you're going to lose more than normal when it crashes. I would have looked at used Hondas, Toyotas, Lexus and acuras.. But Hondas my favorite. Every brand has its issues. People are crazy about Toyota..and think they rarely even have an issue..they do, as often as a Honda..which isn't much.
@@richsweeney1115 1. I’ve owned many cars over the years. Only one has been in an accident, and another had hail damage which you couldn’t tell once it was fixed. To suggest every single car/most cars get in some sort of accident is crazy. 2. There are a minority of times where buying new can be an okay decision. If the prices are out of whack like they are now, you keep the vehicle for a long time/lots of mileage and take meticulous care of it, it can be worth it. It also allows you to avoid vehicles that have been abused. Mind you, this is coming from someone who only bought new one time (during a recession) and 3 years later I was offered more (including all the fees and taxes) than I paid for it (Tacoma). There were a couple other times where I really could have gone either way (new or used) and it would have been either a wash or maybe I would have paid a somewhat nominal amount for the piece of mind of a new car.
Have a 97 accord with 500,000+ miles and still going...Bought it brand new and couldn't ask for a better car. It sat for 3 years and then again for another year. Both times started up with a new battery of course, but through the yrs very little maintenance was done except changing the oil. Its crazy how it's still going! Anyways Honda is the way to go in my opinion!
Have an 03 Accord with 107,000 miles; bought new as well. Only thing I've had to replace was the ac compressor and alternator. Hope to have it for several more years at least.
@@greenwil Just change the oil when it recommends and you will be good. I will never get anything other than Honda or possibly a Toyota. Let me know when you are selling it!!
I like my sunroof. I can open the sunroof and roll down all the windows and pretend it's convertible, without having to stop the car to put it back up. When the car has been parked in the hot sun, the sunroof makes it easier to vent the heat while waiting for the A/C to start cooling. In cool weather you can let the sun shine in without the cold wind.
I’ve done that. Feels fantastic. Keep a tube of copper grease and run it along the tracks. Keeps it smooth, lubricated, and it doesn’t tax the electric motor to move it opened & closed. A wee tube is inexpensive, hand to use, easy to store. A tub if you have a garage & are keeping the car for a good while. Happy (and safe) motoring.
Agreed. I put down a deposit on a Lexus and then backed out because I just couldn’t deal with it not having a sunroof. I love to have the sun in the car & when you open it, you don’t get all the wind in your face like you can with the windows. I bought an Acura because a panoramic sunroof is standard.
I like the sunroof/ moon roof , i often used it and enjoyed it, it's for people who think that a convertible is too much but don't want a completely sealed top either
I felt the same away about infotainment screens sticking up randomly on the dash, but after driving one using navigation on that screen from my phone I found I like it better. It takes less time to look away from the road to check the maps. It feels safer. My previous car had one integrated into the dash but it felt like I was looking away from the road too long when I would check the navigation.
I totally agree!! No need to move your neck, it's like you can see the road and the map almost at the same time. Initially I thought it was afterthought, super glued tablet on the dash, but now I get it. It really is better the way Honda put it because it's more functional and safe.
Drove by a local Toyota lot a few weeks ago. Before the pandemic, it used to be jam-packed with new Camrys and RAV4s. Now it was completely empty. I hope the situation improves next year.
Several months ago, I was at a Honda dealer getting my older Honda Accord serviced. Out of curiosity, I looked at the stickers on two new Accords. The dealer had added some $15,000 to the MSRP.
I'm thankful to work at a Honda Dealership that doesn't mark up the new inventory 🥺😊. It's hard/sad hearing customers (I myself am a customer) paying markup at other dealers around me :(...
Sorry about Hochul. Buffalo tried to be the beacon of hope in NY but when you’re outnumbered 400k to 15 million it’s an uphill battle we can’t win. The entire state was red……except the major cities, nothing strange about that whatsoever. This state is doomed.
Geez. I called around until I got a dealership who sold me a 22 civic sport in white at msrp for cash. I had to wait 4 months and drive 90 minutes one way but it was worth it. Thanks to Scotty I knew to stick with the 2.0 liter. And yeah, PA potholes may be too rough for these wheels and tires.
He dumps crap on 1.5 turbo unnecessarily. I got Zero issues w it and no oil dilution. They solved the problem years ago. In terms of power, no comparison to 2 liter na
Haven't heard from any CRV owner of a catastrophic engine failure. It uses the same 1.5 l turbo on a much heavier vehicle than civic. Stop with that fear mongering. This motor is totally fine.
Oh Scotty.... The Civic Sport with the naturally aspirated port injection 2.0 k20 equipped with a 6spd manual, yes, that's right you can can get the base model with a manual transmission. This model car is BY FAR THE BEST most reliable car you can buy for under 30k that will last over 250k miles EASY if you properly maintain it. This combo ONLY comes in the hatchback model.
I wasn't sure about the screen either, but after driving mine for 15k miles or so, it is nice to have the screen at eye level like it is. Easier to look at the nav, Spotify, etc without fully taking my eyes off the road.
Back in May I bought a 2022 Honda Accord Sport with the 2.0T and 10-speed automatic, right off the truck brand new for $33,000. Crazy how people are paying more for a cheaper car.
My 2022 honda hr v has no moonroof, no gdi, no low profile tires, and no push button start. It has limited electronic drivers aids, magic seats, a tried and true 1.8 liter 4 cylinder engine and gets 30mpg city and 38 mpg highway. If this civic is so good, imagine how much better my hr v is. I'm very glad I bought it before the 2023 came out. I think it is superior to any other small suv and will outlast any current Honda product .
I really wanted the new civic (coming from a 2005 civic). All the dealerships wanted 10K above the MSRP. So I bought a used 2012 ES 350 with 50K miles for 19K. I'm happy.
I bought a 13 accord coupe today w/ 60k miles, even though its a 4 cyl this car screams! Turned out to be a much better car than I expected, after driving crappy domestic cars my whole life this car is a game changer
My daughter and I both drive 2013 Accord EX sedans. Love the 2.4 liter engines. Wasn't too excited about the CVT when I first got mine but 6 years later it's still running perfectly w/ 75k. Pretty sure I'll be driving this until the wheels fall off.
I got the 22 si. Its got the 1.5L and taking my aggressive driving well. Tuned it also. 0 issues. Fun car good quality. Just maintain it correctly and dont abuse it and itll last a very long time
That's the exact configuration I want (2L NA port-injection, 6MT), except for the color. I'd have asked around to see if there was someone buying an EX-L trim at the same time and see if they wanted to swap their 17" wheels with the 18" wheels.
I got a 2024 Civic Touring about 3-4 months ago i still love it and for my first vehicle especially with no co signers i still got it below msrp and low as heck APR
I bought an Acura & they marked it up 3500 over sticker. On the other hand, they paid me 5,000 more for my trade in than I paid for the car a year ago used. It worked out.
I sell New Hondas in Texas, these are amazing cars. Every one of my customers loves the Honda and long lasting vehicle. Have a 2000 Accord V6 with 125k miles on it 🎉🎉🎉
I had a similar situation, early november, i totaled my 2015 civic so i needed a car. i originally was planning to get a used civic but the prices for them were ridiculous. i went to some local smaller dealerships and they had used ones for up to like 32k. they were had really high mileage for their years, like i found a 2022 civic with 39k. Long story short i went to a couple different honda dealerships to try and get a new one, most were in transit and already had people with deposits on them. and all the dealerships had market adjustments of 5,000 and dealer added accessories, which were “non negotiable”. i just walked out and said ok we’re good, across the street from one of the honda dealerships is a kia dealership. i decided why not just go see what they have, few hours later i walked out with a new 2023 kia forte gt for only 27k. i’ve had it for a few weeks and have zero regrets. Kia really upped their game.
I think Kia's are fine as long as they're either brand new or nearly brand new and not a car built in 2010-2015. Maybe I wouldn't expect them to last up to 200,000+ miles like a Toyota or a Honda and I would be on top of oil and other fluid changes.
2.0L naturally aspirated port injected engine and a 6 speed manual transmission is the most reliable way to buy a Civic 👍🏻 He definitely overpaid by a lot however. His daughter will easily get a few hundred thousand miles out of that K20C2 engine no doubt.
It’s not a ripoff or screw job if you willingly sign the paperwork and take delivery. The customers paying the over-inflated prices need to learn about personal responsibility. If the #’s change or you get the high penny roll, leave. Don’t pretend you’re leaving. Just walk out!
I live in chicago and they were marking them up 3-5 thousand dollars. I tried negotiating with a pre approved loan, trade in, and a down payment ready to take their car off the lot they wouldn't budge. I ended up getting a 22 Sentra SR for $25k plus taxes and fees coming out to 28k. Im satisfied with my purchase just need a daily car with good gas mileage.
@@jaysmith179 I got the 5 year or 60,000 miles power train warranty but I don't plan on keeping it that long. Will pay it off and then upgrade I want something with power and luxury next!
Went to multiple dealers here in Canada, they are still telling you the car’s weekly cost as if you don’t need to know the interest rate which is 7.8 for new cars or 9 or the used, figured out them putting extra 10k on the mrsp when they surprisingly know you are paying cash. They told me that’s the best deal they can get me. I guess anyone would just walk away.
My last civic came with a sunroof. Used it maybe 3 times in 6 years. Not a big fan of all the electronic tomfoolery as scotty would say on my new civic but got an extended warranty just in case.
I love my 2024 civic. Only down side is a little road noise on some highways... But that's about it...the car is smooth as butter, looks fantastic inside and out, handles well, great on gas, and it's a HONDA 🙂
Scotty, I've been waiting for this review. It's unfortunate the owner got ripped off on the price though. I bought my '22 sport in June of '21 and paid 23,450 out the door. Was lucky I got it before all the price increases. Mine is an automatic transmission and is clean. I couldn't believe how unkept that car was. Keep the great videos coming!
@@hunny27 no he didn’t. These cars go for 24,095 or so mrsp. I know because I got one the same month and year he did and got mine for the same price. I got lucky enough and bought it when they had no markup. My brother got a 2019 Civic with 18k miles for 24k smh
I got my Civic Sport Touring with manual transmission for MSRP last Saturday! I did opt for a tire warranty though specifically because of the low profiles and past experience with local roads. Loving the car so far it is a blast to drive!
I've been happily cruising around in my 2016 Civic for a little over a year now. I was fortunate enough to buy it before the price of used cars went through the roof. The very first new car I ever bought was a Honda Civic and that being said this is the 3rd Civic I've ever owned and at my age hopefully it will be the last car I ever buy. Edit: I forgot to mention that it also has a sun roof which is nice to have down here in the sunshine state aka Florida.
I also got a steal of a deal last year for a 2018 civic lx. The automatic cvt is remarkably zippy. The new civics are so ridiculously expensive in Canada. I was considering a 2023 hatch but I refuse to pay over 30k for a economy car.
Scotty that is exactly what happened to me. I got rear ended on the high way. Totaled my car and get and check. Was looking for a new car and saw the buying a brand new civic seemed way better than buying a used as everything is basically the same price for. It was ridiculous.
Kind of in the same situation as this person; I was 16 when I got myself a nice beautiful 2002 tan Honda Accord with all the luxurious features with it being the top spec model on top of the previous owner putting really nice rims and tires on it. I bought the car for $3000 with about 114k miles and was recommended by the previous owner to change the rear suspension on it. I did the oil changes changed the rear suspension and it drove like a beauty without having many problems on it. About a week ago I was in an accident going about 50 miles an hour when some Florida driver failed to yield with with their flashing yellow left turn arrow and it caused heavy frontal damage and sent me flying off the road. I was fine with no scratches or anything besides very minor whiplash but the car was completely totaled with both airbags going off too. Insurance was quick and gave me about $4300 for my $3000 vehicle which I only had liability insurance on. With that being said I’ve been looking for vehicles and the markup on all vehicles are crazy! I’ve been considering getting the new mazda 3 since it has more horsepower and torque then the new civic, but the new mazda 3 barely has any interior space because all their interior stuff is bulky. I’ve found that a lot of dealerships have deals on their new cars to where it’s actually cheaper than getting a vehicle that’s like 4 years old which is ridiculous. I’m thinking of getting the civic 2023 since Honda has treated me well and I can get it for a good deal considering the economy of cars at the moment, but I also am concerned with the cvt transmission and with it being such a new vehicle I’m concerned with reliability. Anybody have any thoughts or advice for me?
A couple of Honda dealerships tried to sell me a Civic for insane prices too. About 7k over MSRP. I just bought a Subaru instead. They had more inventory and much better financing deals, and much nicer people.
Agreed. Never ever pay even close to sticker price. Find out the invoice price and pay a couple of hundred above it. Take public transport or taxis. Don't buy a new or used car at these insane prices.
2012 Civic 220,000 and I have never had any issues with the CVT transmission or any major issues. Still running without issues, bur like you said, just take care of it.
I got a brand new civic sport in October 2021 for $24,100 with my choice of color, 0.9% financing and my dealer includes a lifetime mileage/warranty on the drivetrain. Good for the CVT (I'm still not sold on them). I had to wait for about a month to get it and if I wanted a standard the price went up alot. I do miss my manual though. Time for a second Civic.
Got mine back in March. Its been a great car, already done a cross country road trip. 2 years of complimentary maintenance is great. Out the door for the Sport I paid 30,000. After taxes and everything. In the end I paid about a 2,000 mark up. Considering I could not find a car in my state or surrounding states in black with the packages I wanted, dealers nowadays and the reliability and resale value of the car, I did not mind. Almost paid off! Plan on driving it until the wheels fall off which might be never with a Honda!
The thieves are at their best. Don't buy from the dealer, private people are the way. You want new then spend high bucks!!! Simple as that! Scotty has a vlog a few ones back to watch on buying a car.. your the man scotty keep telling everyone what is really up!! God bless us all
Amen! Buy used from owners! Maybe not exactly what you want but with a little patience you can find great cars without the hassle and instant depreciation…
The used car market is chalk full of the worst scum of our society. Ive veen trying to sell my accord in great condition and all i run into is low iq smoothbrains that think theyre smart when theyre negative IQ. Society has lost its mind. I dont want to buy or sell a car anymore. I dont evwn want normal jobs anymore, theyre all corrupted trash. Theyre enslaving us one robbery at a time. They rob you of a fortune for a clunker off the factory floor and then ecpect you to go get a job to pay for it just barely scraping by. These people getting loans for cars they cant afford and are getting robbed and they deserve it sonce they willingly want to get robbed. If you have to take put a loan to overpay 3x what an econobox should cost, you make bad financial decisions. Unhirable.
AGREED on the vertical screens! I don't know why so many manufacturers are doing that. It looks like such a rushed afterthought as to where the infotainment system should go.
@Aaron - When I first saw them I thought they pushed down into the dash. Vertical screens, for map info, radio, auxiliary info, - they do look like a mini iPad afterthought as you say.
There's a reason they do it. The built in screens are forced tl flow with the dash angle (more or less), they're also mounted lower than thhe vertical screens. Because of that you tend tk get a lot of glare on the screen that washes out the image, and you can't see anything. In the Civics case, enough people complained about the 10th gen Civics having constant glare, that Honda listened and raised the mounting location as well as increasing the angle to vertical. The screen is also closer to being inline with the sight line of the driver, rather than having to look down.
@@nypana1202 I'm from NY, and I haven't heard of anyone trying to steal factory built in screens. These are NOT the standard DIN radios/LCD's of the past that fit standard mounting locations. They're also not the computer or player, so it'd be next to worthless for all the effort of trying to get it out. Now...if it was a catalytic converter, that's another story...
Just bought the 2023 honda civic sport for 27 after taxes and everything and I love it. Reliable great handling and the car has amazing gas mileage. I paid 1.5k over sticker it was 25,725 Love it !
@@cakeboss1721 I had to have a car and everything is marked up right now. I wanted a Toyota Camry but in my area they are selling for $46,000. The civic was only a 2k markup so I got it instead. I had a 21 civic prior to this one and really liked it.
I’ve bought two cars from that dealership and never had any problems with sketchy fees or behavior, and found everything to be smooth and fair. That was before moving away, sucks to hear about it now because I did used to really enjoy working with them.
Quick Tip because the dash was so dusty... keep a Swiffer cloth in the car and when it gets dirty from use bring it back to the house and use it there. Swiffers work better than anything else especially reusable ones.
The K20 civic is the best one, the turbo L15 engine is unreliable and can't take much boost. The K20 is reliable, and it can make up to 400 whp on stock internals
I bought a 2019 Civic with 24,000 miles and 6 speed manual in early 2020 for 19.5k. Today it has 75k miles on it and worth 25k. Whew, that purchase was just in time. First time in my life I bought an economy car and it appreciated in value after I left the dealer.
My 09 Accord has 210,000 but its been burning oil for a while. I change my own oil every 5,000 miles but this model is known for oil and VTC issues so.
Driving around in my naturally aspirated 1.5 liter Fit, I am amazed at how much HP they can squeeze out of the same engine that they pop a turbo on in the Civics. But I would really not feel good driving around that knowing the engine is getting that output by being strained by that turbo whipping it nonstop, basically the engine on a steady diet of energy drinks and amphetamines. Naturally aspirated all day is the way to go.
longevity of and engine depends nowadays more on the owner and driving profile. Why should a Turbo 1.5 built by Honda not last longer if *not* abused? And how shall naturally aspirated engine live long when heavily abused and skipped multiple oil changes? Natrually aspirated engine might keep longer if abused, but for longevity right maintenance is not an option
I have a 2010 Golf 2.5l 5cyl and a 2013 TT-RS with the same 5cyl but with a big turbo and the 400hp Audi is just as reliable as the 170hp NA Golf. Companies don’t just throw an EBay turbo on their cars and call it a day lol. Honda 1.5t is great, it’s like the Japanese version of VW’s 2.0t, which is bulletproof.

I paid 5k for it at the time, it was more than I spent on the total of all my other purchases combined. good luck with the car...
I went to Honda dealer and they had one Civic Sport hatchback made in Mexico with CVT. I asked for out the door price, found out, 2000$ above MRSP for market rip off, Dealer fee rose to $349 from $199. I liked the car, but nicely thanked. Will wait till they are back at 20K plus tax.
Sunroof is the best. It allows hot air trapped in the car to escape once opened. It also helps air to travel from vents better. Also if in a motor vehicle collision, assists with extrication. It is a must have in all my vehicles.
I got rid of my 2018 hatch, parts kept breaking, oil smelled like gas and i had to change it sooner than usual, transmission oil needed the same, ac didnt work and just felt flimsy. I miss older hondas.
I have a 10th gen manual civic and it also has the electronic parking brake. To work around the car rolling turn on the ‘brake hold’ button. Solves the problem with ease
Man ty Mister Scotty for your advice 🙏 wish I found you years ago because you have some really great advice I wish I would’ve heard back then. You also making me want to be a mechanic 😅
Hey Scotty, I just went to a Hyundai dealership in Long Island New York yesterday they wanted for a 2023 Kona $47,000 with tax to buy it outright. The sticker price is 34,500.
Come down to Brown's Leesburg Hyundai Virginia. They give discounts on the sticker price. I booked the 2023 Sonata for a 1K lesser than the sticker price here.
I people stopped overpaying, dealerships would have to stop overcharging. People that can, should have their used car repaired. If people keep paying over msrp, dealerships won’t stop price gauging.
The prices will never go down if not for a very long time. I’ve been searching everyday after my beloved 04 Accord was totaled August 20th. People like Scotty and Your Auto Advocate keep saying wait wait wait, but nothing ever changes. And Scotty just did a perfect example right here; guy paid almost 10k over. Today I saw an 2020 Corolla SE with 40k miles going for 2k MORE than what a top of line XSE would have gone for if it was brand new. It’s hopeless. Things won’t seriously change for about a year, and that’s when and if production of new cars gets caught up. If you want a new car, wait. If you need a new car, just take the inevitable loss.
Exactly. I ended up buying a used 2015 Honda Civic Si and it was about $4000 overpriced but I needed a car because my paid off car was totaled. It's a terrible time to buy a car
If something happened to Frank (my 2007 Si), I'd ride an ancient Buick for a year, then sell it at a loss once prices came down. You can get them for cheap still, wouldn't lose much. Of course, I don't commute, so I have it easy.
@@harrytuttle4069 my wife has an 08 Si and I have a Forte GT. We alternate each other cars every week, and I love that Si much more than the 2022 one that was going for 40k
I bought a 2012 Accord Coupe MT for $6000 OFF brand new 10 yrs ago. I'm going to keep that car till it dies. No way am I paying these premiums right now.

Its rediculous to upsell on such a basic car. Dont buy them until the drop the prices
I would have done the same thing. These dealerships have no shame when it comes to jacking the price up WAY BEYOND reason.

In the summer, I love my sunroof. I like to open it and roll down all four windows for what I call the "pseudo-convertible experience"!
I don't have a sunroof. I vent my hot car, by opening the door, and waiting a minute for the hot air to go out.
Makes the interior roof lower. Sucks

Yeah it's designed to be in your line of sight
Heads up is definitely better
I totally agree!! No need to move your neck, it's like you can see the road and the map almost at the same time. Initially I thought it was afterthought, super glued tablet on the dash, but now I get it. It really is better the way Honda put it because it's more functional and safe.
Honda went to a stand up display to give the car a more airy & less claustrophobic feel.

Just bought the 2023 honda civic sport for 27 after taxes and everything and I love it. Reliable great handling and the car has amazing gas mileage. I paid 1.5k over sticker it was 25,725
Love it !
You got a good deal. I paid a little under 29,000 all-in for a new 2022 Civic last September.
Nah you didn’t over pay msrp is that exact price
Scotty is in such shock from being part of the car industry that his arms can't stop flailing
I been waiting for a honda civic review, but this was something I was not expecting. When I bought my civic, the mark up was 3k and that's crazy!!
Easy solution - don't buy it buy something else or get the bus.
@@acement1 haha😐
I just got my Touring in this same color a month ago. I paid $33,000 for it. These markups are crazy.
You paid this for a civic????? Crazy mark-up, absolutely crazy.
Why didn't you say no lol
@@cakeboss1721 I had to have a car and everything is marked up right now. I wanted a Toyota Camry but in my area they are selling for $46,000. The civic was only a 2k markup so I got it instead. I had a 21 civic prior to this one and really liked it.
@@reginaalear why didn't you just keep the 2021 ?
@@cakeboss1721 take a wild guess
Nice, K20 manual civic are still available.
I’ve bought two cars from that dealership and never had any problems with sketchy fees or behavior, and found everything to be smooth and fair. That was before moving away, sucks to hear about it now because I did used to really enjoy working with them.
they put a bigger battery into it yay😃
May I ask which dealership you end up with?
Quick Tip because the dash was so dusty... keep a Swiffer cloth in the car
and when it gets dirty from use bring it back to the house and use it there.
Swiffers work better than anything else especially reusable ones.
Honestly, there’s two weeks in the beginning and two weeks at the end of summer when I use my sun roof lol still looks nice from the outside though.
The Fed is printing printing printing, turning savers savings into confetti.
I got the same and same price! I got mine just on time as well ….. I got the last new 2019 in Canada lol $19500
200k mile saab. Original turbo amd engine. All the semi trucks on the highways are turbo. Turbos are the replacement for displacement!
Here in Australia there's only 1.5 turbo no choice. Wish there was a 2.0
I have a 2022 Honda civic Sport Hatchback. I drove from San Diego to Stockon California to buy mine. In SD it was around 44 thousand and in Stockton it was 30thousand even. The drive was definitely worth it ha. Inflation crazy
I'm shocked to see how dirty the center console is. Clean it up Scotty before showing it 😅
Use my sunroof for SUN light
Makes the cabin so much brighter
Opening it is gimmicky (unless the aircon is broken)
Here I am holding onto my 05 matrix for dear life to avoid paying these prices. 🤣
Got you beat, I`m rolling in a 04 Sentra,
@@xbrizzcakez what's your mileage?
@@joelplascencia3568 120,000. My round trip to work was only 12 miles. I bought it brand new, I literally have had NO repairs. Maintenance I did myself. I`m retired now, have the money to buy new but this thing just keeps starting and going. I leave it outside in San Francisco and even the thieves don't want it, lol
@@xbrizzcakez Honestly, that's impressive. Mine is at 248k, but I got it at 236k. My first car out of college. My job is 30 miles round trip, and the furthest I drove it is to San Luis Obispo from LAX area. I've also done San Diego.
@@joelplascencia3568 I'd say your Matrix is way more impressive. Buying it with 236k? and it is getting you where you want to go? The most mileage I`ve ever had on a car is 165k, it was an 89 civic and I bought it with 105,000k. I was driving an 81 civic and thought the 89 was luxury, lol.
I just spent less than that for a 2023 Subaru Outback Onyx. Honda shouldn't allow dealers to price gouge.
Putting 1.5 liter turbo motors in everything has me turning to Toyota. Not to mention that duck bill hood on the new CR-V's.
Still waiting on Scotty to get a 2022 civic si!
You also making me want to be a mechanic 😅
i have Honda accord 1.5 EXL 2022, and i live in Minnesota, absolutely perfect car.
Hey Scotty, I just went to a Hyundai dealership in Long Island New York yesterday they wanted for a 2023 Kona $47,000 with tax to buy it outright. The sticker price is 34,500.
@Phillip Banes millennium Hyundai in Hempstead on Franklin ave. Total criminals!!! BMW Cadillac Mercedes never had any market adjustment pricing.
@Phillip Banes Long Island is 2 counties. Suffolk and Nassau County. NYC is 5 boroughs.
Come down to Brown's Leesburg Hyundai Virginia. They give discounts on the sticker price. I booked the 2023 Sonata for a 1K lesser than the sticker price here.
Most NYC metro dealers have no qualms about ripping off their customers.
And here I am driving a 1981 Daihatsu.
