One of my favourite riffs is the Sweet Amber "breakdown," but you guys opted for St Anger instead haha
King Nothing. All of Load and ReLoad is underrated. Those albums don't get the love they deserve.

It’s so weird to listen to early Metallica with perfectly time aligned drums and modern distorted tones. Great job on this man, super enjoyable to listen.
As well as normal sound snare on St. Anger ;)

Take into consideration y'all:
Some of the tunings may be pitched slightly higher than the original 440Hz, I'm pretty sure they used 450Hz for AJFA and 444Hz on RTL. 🤘

@@BaenaCarcosa A few bands I listen to do that, Megadeth used 427Hz on Peace Sells, Machine Head use 427Hz in D Standard/Drop C, and Pantera sometimes used 430Hz. If you use it well, it benefits the song in my opinion.
@@benmoody02 For Peace Sells and KIMB songs, I've always just tuned down a quarter step from E Standard and it brings it pretty damn close
I thought the rtl pitch change was from them speeding the master up. I know machine head tunes to drop b at 450hz and dime just ghetto tuned his by ear
Yeah the pitch is diferent cuz od speeding stuff up, at least on ride the lightning
I love ya Andrew, but man next time when you do a higher tuned band, turn down the treble. It's kinda fizzy when you do E standard songs. Nice riffs though!
My suggestion for a riff compilation would be Converge or Muse!

My favourite riff from the video would definitely be frantic. Think i'm kinda in the very small amount of people who actually enjoy that album, it's easily my favourite from them

I love this video. Metallica is the first band that made me passionate about music and pick up a guitar ❤
The tone was super close. My fav riffs are the bass line on master of puppets on the intro to that instrumental piece. the moth into the flame riff. sanitarium the day that never comes has awesome switches towards the end. As you said a million to mention.
Random Kirk Hammett uses a FretCorner Bend on the high E on the most badass scream on the end of 1 of the greatest solos of all time on master of puppets. He tried it and everyone liked it. he doesn’t do it live though I think he uses a pinched harmonic to mimic it.
