I really appreciate that you included a list of the sets with the set numbers in the description! We did the same thing on a recent video we made of our version of Hogwarts, but thanks to your list, I can now easily see which sets we have yet to collect. Thank you!

I feel like they are missing out on just releasing individual rooms in small sets.
Probably better margins on higher priced sets tho, I think we may see small sets become less numerous with Lego’s new pricing standpoint

i was considering getting my first lego set in 20 years but im not sure if i should start with this or wait for the next lego hogwarts set to release and if the new releasing room of requirements 76413 going to be combinable with this set or part of a new one?
The new Room of Requirement should be able to connect to all the 2021-2022 expansions, there is a chance this summer could end this lineup however that has yet to be 100% confirmed.
I would like to see Snape’s office, the boathouse and the greenhouse
boathouse. yes. with moldy voldy and nagini and a bloody snape. also the vial of tears wouild be a good dual molded piece
What is the best order to buy them?
Se me ocurre jugar un tipo calabozos y dragones, organizar el set en orden cronológico, llegar a una casilla y anotar en un cuaderno el 1 y 2 regresar casilla, 3 y 4 quedarse en la casilla, cinco y seis. En la casilla de fluffy o pociones, en cierto número de lados, mandarlos a enfermería.
I want to do this in piecemeal, so I’m only buying a set or three a month. I’m worried about retiring sets before I get there.
It is seeming more and more likely that this current line of expansions will be continuing into at least 2024 so you should have till that year to pick up sets like the Chamber of Secrets, Dumbledore's Office and the March Room of Requirement. Some of the 2021 sets have already made their way out, and I expect to see the Sirius's Rescue one go this year as I feel it is the worst performing one.
how much was it all in total?
I want to buy into this set, but I'm scared that once I've invested a bunch of money into it, they'll reboot the set and release one which includes a courtyard and viaducts, which is what i REALLY want. Also next iteration might also take inspiration from Hogwarts Legacy
Considering this reboot started in the 20th Anniversary and that we are no longer celebrating it, I would expect to see a reboot come 2024 the earliest. As far as taking inspiration from a video game, I find it unlikely that LEGO would do that but who knows they have surprised us in the past.
@@jedijacpenguin cool! correct me if I'm wrong though, but haven't a lot of the sets from this system already been retired? I see them still available on a handful of webshops, but I'd imagine that's just their stock not having ran out yet. I definetily don't want to be stuck buying from 3rd party sellers at steeper prices
@@YouCubeParadigm yes, most of the sets from the first wave have been retired, I believe the only one left at the moment is the Chamber of Secrets/Great Hall (once that one is gone we will know a reboot is coming), I believe both the Polyjuice Potion Mistake, Fluffy Encounter, and the Wizard's Chess will be gone by the end of the year or while supplies last.

That's where they hold Harry's Firebolt after he gets it for Christmas (it's one of the many book references included in the Summer sets, they really blew it out of the park this year with those!)

if you don"t own set 40452 you can buy it for 100+ why to expensive :(
That set was available as a GWP (Gift With Purchase) back in Summer 2021, those sets usually receive a limited run, meaning there aren't too many left out there so I expect sealed copies of the set to float around that price. If you don't mind not having the box or Instructions, you can always bricklink the parts, I believe there isn't anything particularly exclusive to it other than the end results of the build.
I hope they stop with this modulair sets and go back to what they where doing in 2018/2020
We have atleast another year of it before we get another Castle reboot.
@@jedijacpenguin aren’t there not enough castles around? Instead of that they can still do so much more
@@Roekeeelk yeah, but this is just the way it is. Things can always be expanded on, LEGO is known for being a toy that you can rebuild into any shape you want. I feel this castle style could remain in the future as much as many people may not like it that much. At the end of the day, vote with your wallet: buy the sets you want to buy, don't buy the sets you don't like.
