- Join me as I venture inside the 2021 LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets for an epic unboxing, speed build and review video. Enemies of the heir beware as we open 73689 Hogwarts: Chamber of Secrets, a 1,176 piece LEGO Harry Potter set recreating Hogwarts Great Hall, Salazar Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets complete with basilisk, and Gilderoy Lockhart's Defense Against the Dark Arts Class filled with freshly caught Cornish Pixies.

The 2021 LEGO Harry Potter set includes exclusive LEGO minifigures including Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley, Tom Riddle, Colin Creevey, Luna Lovegood, Gilderoy Lockhart, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Albus Dumbledore, Aurora Sinistra, Nearly Headless Nick and a gold 20th anniversary Lord Voldermort minifigure. The LEGO basilisk gets a 2021 makeover and looks a lot more like the serpent from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets but lacks the unique character of the basilisk from the 2002 LEGO Chamber of Secrets set.
As well as unboxing the 76389 LEGO Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets set, I include a time lapse LEGO speed build and a detailed look at each of the LEGO minifigures, as well as comparing them to their on-screen characters. This set includes some of the more obscure Harry Potter characters including Astronomy Professor Aurora Sinistra, Harry Potter super fan Colin Creevey and Hufflepuff Justin Finch-Fletchley. Although she doesn't show up in the Harry Potter books or movies until Order of the Phoenix, I was surprised to see Luna Lovegood included in this set which also includes six random collectable wizard tiles recreating chocolate frog cards and cool details from the Harry Potter movies including printed Cheerie Owls cereal box and a stack of Gilderoy Lockhart autographs in his office next to Lockhart's wig.

Lego really needs to have more options for Ravenclaw students than just Luna and Cho. Why not make a Penelope Clearwater for this set. She would fit the story.

@@Ol_Lochy Hufflepuff has somewhat decent representation. This set has Justin Finch Fletchly and we've also seen Susan Bones, Hannah Abbot and Cedric Diggory.

What I appreciate about the 20th-anniversary version of Hogwarts is its narrow footprint. Unlike its (very cool) predecessor, it fits easily on a standard wall-mounted book ledge. And let's be honest: Many of us are running out of display space after setting up the micro castle. Reducio!

Amazing set and an amazing review! Since the whole point is to get all the sets, one can add Ron, Snape and Draco but it would have been nice to include a petrified Hermione or a Neville that could be attached to the ceiling!
Even though I already got and put together all of these new sets- I still enjoyed watching you build, tour, recreate scenes and go over them. It reminded me of things in it that I already forgot about, and a few things I hadn’t thought about
When I buy these new sets with the green roofs I'll connect them with the ones with grey roofs and just pretend that the grey ones were destroyed in the battle of Hogwarts and have been rebuilt hence the different color🤣

I think Luna Lovegood was used because of the fact that she is the same year as Ginny. Plus she is one of only seven Ravenclaws named in the whole series. Lego's only other options would be Penople Clearwater (who never showed up in the movies), Cho Chang, PadmePatil (in the books she is Ravenclaw), Susan Bones, or unnamed RvenClaw student.
I'd love it if Lego did an updated recreation of the Slytherin Common Room as a set. That would be awesome!

Right I have a few notes :
- In comparison to the 2018-2020 sets I think the new ones building looks slightly flat and I don’t like the choice for a green roof.
- the mini figures are better in this set and match the film quite well and a lot of the pieces in this set are really really pretty. However again the addition of Luna doesn’t make sense.
- I personally have all the 2018-2020 sets and I find them more effective as a put together, tall building.

Sometimes is interesting Price vs piece count vs theme ,for example lego ideas Seinfeld(also know as show of Jerry Seinfeld) it's technically licensed set And it has 1326pcs for normal Price 79,99$ (btw i get it for 65$)
