I do believe you are so humble because of where you live. I was a single mom for 6 years dated so many wrong people until I meet my boyfriend of two year . When I meant him he finally felt like my safe place . This is the first men my son meets and his 13 so don’t ever give up and do not settle . They have an amazing relationship that my son sometimes wants hangout more with him than me . I try not to assume anything of the people I watch on you tube. Yes there r men out there that realize what they have without having to lose it. Carli, the part about you reading the "you can't keep a man" assumption... I felt you so hard on that! I too have been in a couple of relationships where I ended both and it's because I eventually realized I was choosing men that didn't meet my standards and expectations because I was scared to go for the men that I actually wanted. I was out of their league so I took myself out of those situations. I am no longer settling for someone that does not meet my standards and you shouldn't either Carli, you deserve the best!

I thought the assumption of “can’t keep a man” was rude also, but I then considered, when a relationship is successful the parties involved takes accountability, the same should be the case, when a relationship fails.
There can be a multitude of reasons, may be these men aren’t vetted properly, or red flags are ignored or there was some settling. No one is perfect, we all have flaws and when a relationship fails, if we don’t hold ourselves accountable and learn from it there’s no way we can grow and avoid such mistakes again.
