I'm so glad I purchased the majority of my mods for my MK7 GTI before COVID happened, because prices were so much cheaper. I got my CTS TIP for $45. Now its $80 for the same exact part.

So I had this laying around from my s3 for a while now so I actually got this part on sale too for like around $50 myself lol sooo I lucked out but agreed man everything up in price and no sales anywhere!

@@DArias that’s good! Yeah man, it’s just all a crap show nowadays, and I refuse to pay for anything unless it’s on sale now.
I just got new injectors for my MK7 GTI. Apparently injectors have been revised like 4 or 5 times since 2015-2021. They all fit in those years, but everyone only sells the “newest revision” injector, and asking price is like $220-280 per injector! I was like “hell no am I paying that insane price for an injector!” So I did some long research, found all the revised version #’s, and started looking for them. After about a week and a half, I got a notification that RockAuto got some OEM Bosch injectors in, and I looked at the part #, which matched the part # on my car (it was a second revision #), and due to it being an older revision, it was cheaper. $56 per injector! Bought them right away, and they work perfectly. People think getting the latest revision of a part is always best. In my eyes, for some things yes, for others no. All it means is that VW wanted to “update” it for the MK7.5 gen and sell it for more, even though it’s the same exact thing. So I basically bought four injectors for the price of one newest version. That’s how I shop. Always looking for the best option, best deal.

Size inlet and outlet are the same but the aftermarket inlets do not bottleneck in the middle such as the stock one which rescues flow. Now dbv2 and mst have bigger ones I believe 3” all the way through but more pricey obviously

No tune needed! The ecus in these cars are very smart and compensate for the changes on their own. Not even with exhaust if you don’t a catback no tune needed now If you go full turbo back then a tune is highly recommended to get the full benefit of the performance hardware
