I admire Anthony's ability to say nothing! That is a true skill in modern society.
Great formation, thank so much... It s amazing to see what we learn...
Great. Learned a lot from this video.
Probably the most informative video I've ever wached about zf8hp 😃 great job!
What's mostly the reason behind 2-3 hard upshift in these transmissions although the ATF is clean and well maintained?
Thank you guys for sharing knowledge
Excellent 👍
Loved It!
Any links for the Transtec seal kit upgrade thats mentioned?
Very nice
You mention the "bonded" retainer. Does the term bonded mean with adhesive or press fit or simply the tab?
I am having issues with my 8hp70 and I am out of warranty. When I come to a stop, sometimes it almost feels like I get a slight nudge from something in the Driveline. Also, early in the morning, my 1 to 2 shift is extremely long and harsh when it finally shifts. There is also a shutter from the 2 to 3 shift at times. It seems to act better once it is warmed up, but there are still weird corks about it. I've had a lot of bad experiences with dealerships and shops in the past and was wondering if there was any diagnosis that I could personally do before taking it in to verify what the problem might be.
I have a problem with my Chrysler transmission. If I start the vehicle and I do not engage reverse immediately the reverse (R) flashes and asks to return to park, also while driving 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts perfectly then I have to get the RMP up to 2G for it to shift to 4th gear, then all the other gears shift perfectly. Is this a complete transmission problem or a bad valve body/ TCM issue?
Is it necessary to "reflash" the ZF 850re transmission after a trans flush?
In my experience the best answer I can give is sometimes. Also i probably wouldn't bother with a complete flush, but instead just a change every 50k or so. But yeah i usually flash and update the shift module after a change
@@MrCarttbone I'm having some shifting issues with my 2020 Ram 1500 Classic. It has 40k miles and it's not wanting to go into Reverse and then it shifts hard from 3-4. It will throw an intermittent CEL and then clear itself. If the fluid is cold, sometimes it won't shift outta 4th gear. Any recommendations?
@@nickgifford8197 At 40K you are still hopefully under standard drivetrain warranty. Take it in and have them update the computer. That might fix it. If not you probably have a lack of hydro pressure somewhere in the system. If that’s the case hopefully you get a new trans.
@@nickgifford8197This is the first comment I've seen stating the problem i've been experiencing. Have you figured out what the problem is/was?
Compelex Tranmission
Pros...
