actually I don;t understand how you don;t think Dan and Nick aren't part of the local community. i don;t know about Brian.. how long he has lived in France or if he is permanently based elsewhere. In addition, all the supplies for the build - wood etc is from local shops.. even if it is a chain.. its all going into the local community. Also, not sure where the plants came from. Just because Dan is British doesn;t mean he isn;t supporting the local community you see. Just saying.

The brick arches are lovely, and that they are built using the turret bricks is very special to me. This channel is one of the few that I avidly look forward to and never speed through any posts. Thanks for the opportunity to look into life rebuilding a beautiful Chateau.
I have a few mates that we all worked for the same general contractor building many buildings. Homes, banks, historic rehab. We don’t see each other as much as we should but when they call, you drop what you’re doing and take the call. Projects like this where there’s a team, really cranking out the work, forge lifelong bonds. We all sweated, froze, and enjoyed some great weather, together. Countless lunch breaks. Don’t forget a pint or four. I see you three experiencing a similar situation. I’m happy for all of you. The days are welcomed with a happy crew, getting it done! Cheers!

Remarkable progress, congrats. It was amazing to see so many viewers yesterday make a case for restoring those gorgeous Art Deco tiles which bejeweled the tower. This charming building which you have brought back to life has cast a wide spell!

You looked like a fresh-faced kid, now you look a bit more battle-scarred. You have been working such long days in bitter cold and rain and searing heat, but somewhat gentler times are ahead as you move to finishing the interior. You have created such a caring and supportive band of followers. 🇦🇺

Your quickie method on the floor joists has given me an idea how to improve the design of my garden gates, all of which need to be rebuilt. They should be both stronger and lighter. Keep the puppies safe (and put the jewels back.)
