You're amazing, Chloe, you have become my favourite violinist. I have never heard a violin sound so good and with such a clean tune, truly marvelous and a delight to the ears for the person that gets to hear you. The rest of the orchestra also sounded really good, praises for them too.
One it’s better video quality it’s gonna sound the same the violin does make you play different idc what people think chole chua has better set up not the violin but the bow and she a trained musician so there all gonna sound good
Once in a lifetime do you get a Chloe. Not a simple task this Bruch movement and she has it mastered at her age. Will she become a natural Leonid Kogan, the greatest or a present day Janine Jansen. She is almost there and at her tender age. I really find it hard to stop watching her and her total enjoyment of the music makes it all the more enjoyable
This is the most difficult movement of the entire concerto, and she nailed it. She makes it look so easy but it’s not! And she played it with so much grace, finesse, and it sounds beautiful too.
My daughter plays this piece, let me tell you these chords alone are on a knifes edge of dissonance and are quite difficult to keep sounding so musical! It's one of those pieces that separates the aspiring from the achievers!
after listening to Itzhak Perlman, Hilary Hahn, Joshua Bell, Janine Janson and now you, I think this might be my favorite 3rd movement. There's a sense of perfection throughout it, however combined with that sense of cleanliness reveals the messy style of Bruch, which is lacking ever so slightly in Hahn. (Hahns performance is almost a little too perfect, and the 3rd movement has a hint of crunch that is eliminated beautifully in this version) You executed this really beautifully, and as a violinist of the same age, I can't help but feel envious, however I understand the sheer hard work and dedication you put into this craft. Thank you for serving as inspiration for me to go practice
From the first note Chloe showcased her brilliance with the enthusiasm by the orchestra made it an incredible experience. The pride shown and energy was truly special. An amazing soloist backed by a world class conductor and orchestra. Truly an impressive performance! 🎉
AGREED wow shes' amazing. I saw her 11 year old preformance of Vivaldi which is so stirring but this which is less well known she still shines. her talent is amazing.
I wish my thoughts could covey how much I love the Singapore Orchestra. And Chloe Chua is just absolutely astounding. I won't admit how many times I've watched this . Breathtaking and so emotional. My gratitude and thanks for this.
She reminds me of a young Kyung Hwa Chung with the same intensity and tonal beauty but she looks so comfortable and relaxed even in the most challenging phrases. If the violin is not Stradivarius she makes it sound like one. What will she sound like when she is 28? The sky's the limit in its highest definition.
The famous melody 4:55 to 5:25 was so beautiful by Chloe that i never get from any other violinist before, her good heart reflected by her music! Chloe 無與倫比的音樂是因為她有無與倫比的愛心及優秀的技巧,缺一不可。這是歷來我聽過最好的 Bruch小提協!
I agree completely. Here and elsewhere, Chloe's magnificent music-making is the product of technical excellence, profound musical understanding, and, no less important, spiritual virtue.
This is an outstanding performance, she has so much confidence and brings so much intensity and depth to her performance for someone so young. Very satisfying to listen to.
Happy birthday, dear Chloe! I like the way you play music, and every piece you play becomes my favorite. Thanks to you, I started listening to classical music, and, after all, today I participate in international competitions. To be honest, I've never liked playing the violin. but when I saw your performance in the Menuhin finale a year and a half ago, I really got carried away with it. Now I have just turned 14 years old, and I am already learning Paganini Concerto No. 1. Thanks to you, I have what I have today. Thank you, dear Chloe. I would like to wish you further success in music, inspiration, health and happiness in life! May God bless you.
Wow! 14 and playing Paganini 1?!? I’m 15 and I’m learning the Bruch! You are a GOOD violinist!! I don’t know you, but I’m proud of the effort you’ve put in to get to that level! GREAT JOB to you and Chloe!
I am just blown away how talented Chloe is. I have listened to Bruch Violin Concerto #1 performed by both Janine Jansen and Chloe Chua and honestly, they exactly mirror each other, unbelievable! Like a child prodigy like Mozart was. Amazing,
If you have been practising and getting the notes and timing right, you would be just as confident too. I think she doesn't think of the audience and enjoys playing, so that helps to ease the pressure of playing live.
In 2024, I dusted off my crystal ball and took a good look at the future. I saw Chloe _touring_ the world followed by worshippers. I saw her making friendship with the best of the world. Happy Birthday, Chloe. You have great years ahead. So say we all :)
Yes, I enjoy Chloe's playing and respect her work and her person very much but the word "worship" I could not use for my relation to her. I do not know her personnally and even if I would know her I could not say that I could worship her. I am a Christian person and I could only say that worshippers are persons who attend worship.😮
I have listened many many times to a popular performance of this piece on TH-cam by Hilary Hahn. Every aspect of this performance is just as fantastic, and nothing about it leaves me feeling like I wish I were listening to the one I am more familiar with. That's extremely rare for me to be able to say, especially when the familiar performance is one of Hilary's.
By means of this and other wonderful performances this year past you have brought great joy to hundreds of thousands of people, and given your family, friends, colleagues and country the best of reasons to be proud of you. Congratulations, Chloe, on having acquitted yourself so well. Happy Christmas! I wish you the best of luck for the new year!

I enjoy this performance so much! Chloe’s confidence, skills, soul, and smile just make my heart filled with complex emotions. Chloe is so powerful in her playing yet radiates a very humble vibe. I just enjoy her playing so much, beyond my words can describe. It’s almost like those pieces were written just for Chloe. 🩷
I pray that we’ll all accept Christ as our lord and savior so we’ll all play until the countless ages of eternity!!! Bravo and well done!! The performance truly made me happy and inspired!!!
Chloe you do such a good job. I am a concert pianist and I've been playing for 7 years. I'm 12 years old. I can't believe your fingers go that fast and the notes are played with such speed and presicion.

Outstanding human being.
I love this orchestra and Chloe yogether. Its delightful, astoundingly brilliant . The whole is greater then the sum of it's parts apples here. Chloe , of couse, is magnificant. Got to go and see in person!
Great news! SSO and Chloe Chua touring Australia. Chloe and Ng Pei-Sian playing Brahms Double Concerto which is a fierce piece. Can't wait for Chloe and Pei-Sian to wipe the floor with me, again :)
Coming July, I will attend the concert live that features Brahms' Double Concerto. (On another note, last November, Pei-Sian and Chloe's short duet within the Butterfly Lovers Concerto was hauntingly beautiful. Can't wait till its video release. But that I believe will be after the CD release expected to be within months from now on).
