I CRIED. The impact this had on me can't be explained in words. Classical music is truly magical.
Chloe is from Singapore. She is wonderful, plays elegantly with ease and finesse. Nothing superfluous!
OMG I'll never imagine a girl that age playing Winter, is extremally hard to performance! She did it perfectly! 🥰🥰
This is very easy for her!
Her performance three months later of Piazzolla's Otono Porteno with the China Philharmonic gives a better indication of her incredible talents.

She's becoming my favorite young artist, lots of music in her future.
That was the most beautiful thing I ever seen on the internet.. that was perfection
She is not just playing the piece, she is communicating with the rest of the orchestra as well. 🤩 amazing 🤩 Ling Ling approved 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

jesus even the second chair violinist was so super into t and was feeding from the first chair. and the first chair was feeding from Chloe Chua, Magnificent performance from all involved. Thank you.

tudor b He doesn’t mean it in a bad way (I hope). There is a TH-cam channel named TwoSetViolin and they use the term “Ling Ling” to refer to a prodigy or great musician. They’ll say something like, “if you want to be good you have to practice 40 hours a day like Ling Ling.” So it’s a compliment.
That's insane. A child that I suppose isn't more than 10 years old has more talent than I will have in my life, my respect and congratulations.
Because we never focused on one thing
She practiced a lot of hours to get there is not just talent. It's hard work. 🙉💯
Antonio Salieri’s thoughts about Mozart in the movie: Amadeus
Chloe was 12 on this occasion but you are right about her talent.
E.g. she had been only 11 when she had given this off-the-scale incredible performance of Hubay's Carmen Fantasie
th-cam.com/video/7LOsOMRYk1E/w-d-xo.html
and only 10 when she had given this delightful performance of Mozart's violin concerto #4
th-cam.com/video/v5CDnftdyvA/w-d-xo.html
She practices five hours a day. Thats not talent. That’s the fruits of working towards something and enjoying it
How ADORABLE is she? Beautiful talent. They are all spectacular.
This made me tear up, such young talent really restores my love for humanity and all we have achieved
Once in a while we are blessed enough to witness the very hand of God reaching out. This little girl is incredibly talented. Dedication like that is a once in a generation phenomenon.
Absolutely and utterly Sensational and Stunning Too. Thank you so much Chloe, I really really enjoyed watching you play so beautifully and with real passion and sensitivity too. I really really love you, you are really really Gorgeous too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Prodigy doesn’t even seem adequate enough for this beautiful, bright talent. Blessings to all musicians on the stage, and sharing such a wonderful gift to us all.
*2 MONTH UPDATE: I listen to this song a lot while I work. And each time, I’m still blown away and speechless lol.
I know right?? 👏❤
WOOOW , bellisimo su modo de tocar el violín e interpretar este tema de Vivaldi !!!❤❤❤❤
The greatest thing about watching artists at work is the emotion. Every deep note they want you to feel as much as they do.
As a violinist in my 3rd year this inspires me so much to try as hard as I can and practice for many hours a day. I am first chair violin and I want to be a good example for the people that follow in my lead for tempo and rhythm. Seeing how the first chair in this orchestra was so focused on being on time with Chloe gave me inspiration! I love this orchestra with all my heart.
Is this a whole peice or 3 peice of art. I want to study the 2nd part. Not sure if it has a different name.
@@ernsmile579 I am not entirely sure but it is most likely one whole piece, that’s normally how it’s written when a violinist has a solo within an entire orchestra
@@ernsmile579
It is a just one work, Vivaldi's "Winter."
It has three movements.
So in answer to your question, the "the 2nd part" is the second movement of Vivaldi's work "Winter" (from his "Four Seasons").
Amazing! The best performance of Winter I ever heard.👌👌👌
Concerto No. 4 in F minor, Op. 8, RV 297, "Winter" (L'inverno)
1. Allegro non molto (in F minor) 0:05
2. Largo (in E♭ major) 3:40
3. Allegro (in F minor) 5:41
@Sherwin Lacson This is helpful to students who are learning the concerto and need to be able to easily go to a specific movement.
Thank you. I needed the Largo bit for reference
I'm sure the soul of Vivaldi must've been looking on with eminent approval at his composition being brought to life. One of the most supreme performances of musical artistry and perfection I have ever seen. Thank you.
Coming back again to marathon on Chloe Chua performances after seeing her on Twosets violins video. My favorite girl. Watching these made me so proud of her and admired her so much.
I wish I could play like her when I was her age. Violin needs big passions and hard work. No short cuts. Maximum discipline . Finding her is rare. BRAVO...
I love the way they bend their heads so gracefully at 4:53-and I'm in love with the woman who sits, in the plane of the shot, just above Ms. Chua; she's so beautiful.
God given giftedness..cannot be acquired but merely externalised from its innare latency by a Genius
I never listen to classical music really, i came here from 2setviolins because they are funny and now tears are in my eyes coz this is the nicest thing ive ever heard. Dont get me wrong ive heard this song before but watching it today made me feel it too and it is pretty amazing.
@@metsubojinrainet ah yes not a song but a piece of music. my bad. sorry.
Came after watching Fabio Biondi ~ for years ~ I have to say what a great performance ~!!!
You have hit upon the highest mountain range on earth. Explore its peaks!
From Baroque to esoteric 21C composition, Chloe has manifested mastery of every genre (including swing jazz and tango).
The sublimely beautiful Bach with which she announced herself in the first round of the 2018 Menuhin competition is a good place to start!

I just fell in love with classical music 😔❤️❤️✨
May the Lord bless her for being able to play such beautiful music.
If I’m not watching I wouldn’t have known this is being played by a lovely kid ❤
Rollercoaster of emotions
I understand why some may prefer a gentler rendition of this but I think this would suit something that requires energy. Like sprinting or a frantic cleaning of the house or something. I personally love this. It took my breath away. The softer parts actually do very well to build tension before it is released in one fell swoop.
The Orchestra is as wonderful as beautiful little Chloe! Perfect together 💙🦋💙🦋💙
Absolutely beautiful, one of my favorite pieces.
She literally put everyone in the mood and sway along with the melodies. 😌🎶🎵
" and a child shall lead them" such beautiful music, brought me to tears.
Chloe has many performances on YT that are equally or even more beautiful. One among them is her serene and radiant performance of Massenet's visionary "Meditation."
th-cam.com/video/6GaIB6hyKTQ/w-d-xo.html
I couldnt even imagine the feeling of the concertmaster (first seat violinist [old dude])
Living long enough to hear the evolution of music AND getting to play with a child prodigy
何もかもが美しい!
演奏も音色も佇まいも、オケとの融合も!
良い時間をありがとうございました
the dynamics made this 102739 times better i really enjoyed listening to this
I’m in tears. I’ve skipped about listening to different Winters on TH-cam, and this is utterly utterly beautiful in so many ways at once. The human soul doesn’t have an age. If our life is a long struggle to connect our soul, then this is an ecstatic celebration by all the musicians playing and us listening, that that connection is possible, it’s real and it is now. Thankyou gang! 🙏❤️
Almost all of the performances Chloe has posted are miraculous and overwhelming.
Among the most beautiful are Massenet's "Meditation," Vaughan Williams' "The Lark Ascending" and Chausson's "Poeme," all on her channel and all an occasion for buckets of tears!
She produces a sound that others cannot
