    Hairdresser here!! Don’t do the roots first people!! And don’t use conditioner. Conditioner closes the cuticle and doesn’t help lifting the colour. Also the roots process first because of the heat. Apply last people! 😊

      Hairdresser also hun! been qualified for 12 years or so. As i mention in the video i did the roots first because it was the darkest areas of my hair (not virgin) and needed longer lifting time. Also condition is perfectly fine to use as this is a professional Goldwell recipe im using. Thanks for watching

      Agree conditioner closes the Cuticle hairdresser 20 years

      @@karennewey3141 disagree as this is a Goldwell professional recipe ive used thousands of times in salon. All the best

      Will a bleach bath cover roots?

    • @Mwahpottery
      @Mwahpottery 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@stephaniehall5095 if you do the roots make sure you do apply last and only leave on for a short period as the roots will lighten faster because of the heat from the head :)

    Love bleach baths! Just did it last week to remove my pink color. The blonde actually looks half decent for I'm going to leave it for a week or two before putting a new color on

      Did u use the same recipe in the video ??? I need a bleach bath I’m afraid I’ll ruin my hair

    • @jessicakayleeable
      @jessicakayleeable 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not exactly. I just do shampoo, powder and developer and add water until a get a good consistency. I use lower volume developer and lower bleach to shampoo and water ratio if I want to be careful.

      Anytime hun! This technique worked perfectly to remove my pink Manic Panic colour! Depends on the brand of hair colour you have used, but definitely give it a crack! Just remember this will lighten natural hair as well, so if you have darker regrowth this will lighten that too! xx Otherwise Malibu C DDL is great at removing most Direct Dyes xx

    Bleach baths are meant to be put on damp hair,what you did was just a diluted bleach so just as much damage .

    • @Jade_fawkes
      @Jade_fawkes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      incorrect. depends on the recipe you are using. Diluted means watered down/weaker so it does in fact cause less damage than straight bleach would. thanks for watching

      I'm wondering if she uses it, and I wonder if that's why it didn't lift much. I've watched newer videos and have never heard of conditioner until today lol
