On a 300 Blackout pistol with an 8" barrel, that Law folding stock adapter is the ticket for concealability. It allows me to carry that "pistol" in my back-pack, even while riding a motorcycle. Extra mags go well in a tank bag. Like American Express, I don't leave home without it... unless I'm carrying something else equally cool.

I’d pay $100ish tops. But it’d just another new gun product design that could make millions selling a million products. But they chose to go specialty and only sell a few hundred units.

Be careful if you do this. Adding the folding stock adapter will increase your length of pull past 13.5" if you are using the same exact stock. Which will turn your pistol brace into a stock. And thus making it an SBR. You have to buy an SB tactical length of pull limiter to keep your pistol build legal.

It’s not absolutely necessary to remove the bolt catch from the law Tactical folding buffer. If you do not remove it, you can only get a half a turn at a time with the tool. So it’s a matter of how fast you wish to put it together six of 1/2 a dozen of the other, lol. The most important part is making sure your takedown pin and detent spring are lined up and do not get bent kinked or pinned because you did not properly align them. Remember also, this is the last chance you will ever get to lubricate, said spring and detent From the inside! I recommend you use a very light graphite, grease, Lucas makes a fabulous oil and grease with graphite in it. don’t put it on the dent put it on the spring closest to the detent first 10 or 12 coils. As you add oil to it, it will spread out throughout the entire spring chamber.
When you install your buffer tube, make sure there is no wobble in the open or closed position. Sometimes you need to put a little more torque on the kingpin holding the two pieces together or you need to lighten off the torque a little bit so they lineup exact !!! if there is a slight bit of wobble, check your rubber, spacer bushing, and you may need to add a very thin washer at the top or the bottom to even the two pieces out! They don’t bring this up. It’s a rare problem, but I had one that literally drove me nuts, till I figured out, after breaking three detent pens out of the buffer tube, that my tube was not in alignment with my bolt. It was a factory error, they would not have caught it, unless they put the gun together. But be prepared to need to add shims and washers, as well as heating up and stretching or crushing the rubber spacer on the hinge.
The buffer tube! When you purchase a buffer tube, there are two types of detent retention. One is just a flat edge that rests on 1/3 of the buffer detent. The other has a V-shaped slot, or what resembles a boob sticking out with the V cut in it. I recommend either one that has a V channel, I do not recommend flat handed buffers for anything, except those not using Springs. In which case that does not matter.
It was not recommended, but in the insert, buffer tube , Thread, lock, pin, and castle Blue Loctite something light, especially on those that have a 13 or shorter inch barrel or you will be shaking parts loose!
This guy may be the expert you listen to all the time , I have more of the following on TikTok, I had a couple of these fail on me, so I came here just to get a look at a video on them. Out of the 50 I have built, 10 that I know of have had hinge failure problems which I have addressed above. Not trying to step in his toes or anyone else’s! Just letting you know the issues with a few of these that have been sent to Eastern Europe, and a few of them that have remained here at home with different LEO, PMC, SWAT, SRU, and SRT. Plinking need not worry. As a serious home defense or truck weapon the Loctite is important! Under stress test we have found failures to occur right around the 1500 to 2000 rounds range when Loctite is not used. This is mainly like I said 13 inch and smaller barrels. Combat shotguns with dead tubes no issues, non-pistol items we’ve not done much with, and those that we built at a later date, we used a different brand. Now the warranties are becoming an issue that all goes back to whether Loctite was used or not. The ones without keep coming back.

The Law Tactical Folding AR stock adapter is a bombproof piece of kit. They sent me one. I installed one on my SKS that was mounted in a Matador Arms Sabertooth Mk2 chassis. It allowed me to have a folding stock on a semiautomatic rifle (this is illegal on any SA rifle except the SKS in NJ). Law Tac employees are mad cool too.
