For brain fog, I'll do something similar I'll put [TK...] sometimes just that & sometimes with what a scene action I'd like. Then I'll come back to it.
I also use my notes on my phone for when I'm scared I'll forget something (which is often).
I also totally agree with editing while writing, it 's what works well with my brain. I'm a bit of a plantser. I have a general outline with details I add to while I write. I'm also very visual so I like my storyboard Pinterest.
Having patience with myself is something I have had to continuously remind myself.
I continuously tell myself that anything that I do to forward my goal (no matter how many words I do) is progress.

Someone else has the word recollection thing, too! I was starting to feel like I was going crazy. Other people say. "Everyone forgets words sometimes." Not like this. Nice tip, thank you. I'll use it the next time it comes up. Btw, I just discovered the channel today and love it!

Writing is a lifelong passion of mine. I am good at it and it makes me super happy. But my chronic pain is widespread and because of it my hands always hurt. Sometimes they are okay to write but very often they are not. So I often find myself in the mental space to write but these two body parts prevent me from it. I've tried voice to text but it tends to be inaccurate and it doesn't help when I want to go back and fix a line right away. What do I do?

If Voice to Text doesn't work, the only other thing I can really think of is looking for a transcriber - So you can record it vocally, and a real person could type it out for you.
Usually this would be a service you'd have to pay someone for, but if that's not an option you may be able to find someone (another Spoonie? On Tumblr, maybe?) who would do it in exchange for credit on the finished product, if you explain your situation.
I truly hope you're able to find something that works for you!

I'll be starting college in a few months so maybe I could enlist my roommate or someone else on my dorm floor to do that for me once I've befriended them.

      It's definitely worth a shot!

Sick, Tired, and Alone Thank you for your advice! I love your channel btw. I'm undiagnosed and at the point where I've been told "take vitamin d and do yoga" by my doctor so it's nice to have someone to learn about dealing with chronic illness from. I'm also in a support group called The Chronicals on a chat client called Discord and they've been super helpful and a great place to vent.

No worries! I'm glad you enjoy the channel, and that it's been helping in some way! I hope you're able to get a diagnosis soon, though. Have you considered checking out different doctors? Some of them are just... dead ends, unfortunately.
I've seen Discord mentioned a few times, but I've never actually checked it out. I'm glad there are more and more outlets for Spoonies ^_^

If a writer doesn't write right can Rite-Aid give the right aid right away to right her wrongs?
