Bread Recipe:
3/4 cups hot water + 2.5 tsp yeast + 1 tsp sugar
3 tbsp oil (canola or avocado)
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
4 cups einkorn flour
1 tsp salt
Bake at 375 F for 30 minutes in a hot dutch oven that was preheated with the oven

You are the sweetest mommy ever! I love the way you build everything around scripture.
I remember when my boys were young. Little boys especially need play for large motor skills. Riding bikes while mama walks along,balls, running,climbing(like the park),sports etc. in the house it’s large set of wooden blocks, building tiles, play dough, painting, even cooking simple recipes like pancakes. Girls may enjoy less active play like dollhouses and sewing but boys need a lot of fresh air and sunshine.

We are a homeschooling family of 6. Our youngest, our only son, has a terminal illness of which there is no cure and severe Autism (he is non verbal). Our lives are hard at times, very hard. Our grief is cyclical. At times, I do mentally find myself in valleys where comparison and pity take over (where I currently am). I will be saving this video to go back to when I need to remind myself of this message. Thank you for sharing.
I also don't enjoy the overhead lights in the kitchen, so I use candles and a lamp on a counter in the kitchen. It does really make a difference.
I can't imagine all you have been through and continue to go through. What a blessing you are, though, for all of your children. I know they are being benefited greatly for your work at home and with their education. I will keep you and your son in my prayers. What a difficult cross you have been asked to carry. My heart goes out to you. Keep the faith. All you can do is love and care for your family, and try to surrender your worries and pains to God. (This is much much easier said than done). Thank you for sharing your story and struggles. May God bring your family peace and comfort. ❤️

Some of my kids are grown, but I still have 2 teenagers at home. I love your channel and your transparency and sweet spirit. Its a blessing to see how sweet you are with you children and that you are enjoying being home with your children. I loved staying home with my children and homeschooling. I just stumbled across your beautiful content. What a perspective on also not seeking to be “too” happy all the time. I think the important thing we can remember is that whether we’re in a season of happiness, sadness, mourning, etc…we remember where our joy comes from. And there is definitely a difference between happiness and joy 💛

Kelsey, thank you once again. This series is awesome! I head our the women's ministries at our church and I am praying about doing this series in our small group Bible studies when we are done with Philippians. Though our women are of all age groups and seasons in life: singles, widows to young moms, I believe we are all homemakers in one sense or another. Applying the beatitudes to homemaking is incredibly practical and profitable in today's hurry scurry, rat race, Hollywood world!

Thank you for sharing this. I'm really struggling right now. My heart is so full of sorrow. My husband and I have tried to have a baby for 12 1/2 years. Last year I miraculously got pregnant completely out of the blue, but sadly I had a very early miscarriage. And I'm just so sad. I continuously go to the Lord for comfort, but I'm just so sad. I miss my baby. I know he/she is safe in heaven which does give me comfort, but I still long to have a baby here to love care for.
Sometimes I feel guilty and ashamed for mourning. I feel like I'm not being grateful for the blessings God has given to me. But I try to remember that Jesus wept. That He said blessed are those who mourn.
"You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle” -Psalm 56:8
I'm so sorry. It is completely normal and understandable that you are mourning. Infertility and miscarriages are so heartbreaking. My husband and I went through infertility and have lost 6 babies. We did end up doing fertility treatments. I'm so sorry you have been going through this. I remember all the pain and all the feelings of longing for having a baby. I will be praying for you. It is so hard to see His timing and trust in His plan, but I know He has something great in store for you. I'm so glad you shared. He sees your sadness and hurt. He is with you, even if you don't feel Him. One thing that made me feel better was getting something to remember my baby. I bought this from Etsy with my first, www.etsy.com/listing/176037506/grief-and-comfort-baby-loss-memorial and then necklaces from Amazon with "Forget Me Not" seeds in them. Your sweet baby is with Jesus, which is so comforting, yet so sad for your time here at this moment. He knows the desires of your heart. Keep the faith. You are a mama, and your baby will never be forgotten.

Thank you for asking the question “how much time do we spend comparing ourselves to others?” I almost didn’t subscribe because yours looked like what I want mine to be. Comparing ourselves to others is a canker to our souls. Where as doing the will of the Father is our anchor. Totally needed to hear this message, thank you! I am wondering how you can avoid cross contamination when making bread, if your daughter has Celiac disease? I have Celiac and any cross contamination will trigger an attack. Also, does she eat the eincorn bread? If it has gluten of any amount it can make her very sick. Make sure she has lots of lemon water with a pinch of salt for her electrolytes as those with Celiac need much more than the average person. Someone asked me once what a Celiac attack feels like. I told them it makes my stomach feel like someone rubbed it raw with sand paper and I ate glass at the same time....😳 I have to avoid some lotions, soaps, shampoos and many other products which contain gluten or else it brings on an attack. Be well educated as most doctors know nothing about Celiac or even the fact it can cause neurological symptoms such as poor coordination, brain fog ands imbalance while walking. A good source is the yt channel Celiac Canada. Just concerned for your little girl ...💕
