Thank for the educative video. It really covers contemporary and emerging field of nanotechnology. However, the velocity of nanofluid is usually calculated from the Reynolds number relation and its function of density and viscosity. These parameters change with change in concentration. since in this tutorial you consider phi = 0 and 4, the velocity of o.233m/s can not be used in both cases.
yes ,I totally agree with you. I strongly applogize for the mistake , the velocity in the second case should be 0.230 for a Re= 1050. will try to add a note in the video if possible. Thank you for your correction.
thanks so much. But there is just a little change in temperature in whole cases!!! Is it really important? Shouldn't we assume more variation to see temperature changes?
Good Tutorial for Nanofluid Flow and Heat Transfer for Single Phase Model. Can we give property for both fluid and nanoparticle inspite of calculating from the formulae? How can we do it for the multiphase model?
It's a great tutorial in the field of nanofluid research; especially, for beginners like me. Thank you, sir. It is not clear to me about inlet velocity and how we use Raynold's number here in this simulation. Would you please let me know?
It helps a lot. Thanks for sharing such a valuable tutorial. I wanna know the size of nanoparticle used in this simulation and how can we specify the size in fluent ?
firstly thank you. I have a question. Nanofluid out temperature was smaller than water (%0) in setup part (face average ) but in results part of the program you draw a chart and nanofluid temperature bigger. So what is the difference ?
Thank you for your amazing tutorials. Is it possible for you making a tutorial about EHD (Electrohydrodynamics) heat transfer enhancement with nanofluids? So far there is no tutorials about EHDs anywhere!!! thank you.
Hello Mr, It is a good video. I have question about inlet velocity. Which properties used to calculate inlet velocity in the second case of nanofluid, thermophysical properties of nanofluid or base fluid? why did you use the facet average to calculate outlet temperature while we can use the average mass weighted average to calculate it?
Thanks sir, I watched more than five times it was a perfect video. Can you please make a video tutorial on drag reduction in the pipe using drag reduction agents like polymer, surfactant, and nano??
Thanks for your efforts in this video. However, i would like to know when i use single phase ( nanofluids) and when i use two phases ( water+ nanofluids) as I'm a bit confused.
single phase problems take lesser time to solve and have a lesser accuracy than the multiphase problem. So if you want a better accuracy then I would suggest you to go for multiphase model.

very nice teacher, teacher can u make a tutorial how to make matching the mesh between two different solid bodies, and adding materials to the solid bodies by CFX ?!
while creating the geometry if you will make all the parts into a single part it will result in a conformal meshing ,if you will keep each part separate then it will result in a nonconformal mesh.
