    Thank for the educative video. It really covers contemporary and emerging field of nanotechnology. However, the velocity of nanofluid is usually calculated from the Reynolds number relation and its function of density and viscosity. These parameters change with change in concentration. since in this tutorial you consider phi = 0 and 4, the velocity of o.233m/s can not be used in both cases.

      yes ,I totally agree with you. I strongly applogize for the mistake , the velocity in the second case should be 0.230 for a Re= 1050. will try to add a note in the video if possible. Thank you for your correction.

    Is it really important?
    Shouldn't we assume more variation to see temperature changes?

    firstly thank you. I have a question. Nanofluid out temperature was smaller than water (%0) in setup part (face average ) but in results part of the program you draw a chart and nanofluid temperature bigger. So what is the difference ?

    Hello Mr, It is a good video. I have question about inlet velocity. Which properties used to calculate inlet velocity in the second case of nanofluid, thermophysical properties of nanofluid or base fluid?
    why did you use the facet average to calculate outlet temperature while we can use the average mass weighted average to calculate it?

    Thanks for your efforts in this video. However, i would like to know when i use single phase ( nanofluids) and when i use two phases ( water+ nanofluids) as I'm a bit confused.

      single phase problems take lesser time to solve and have a lesser accuracy than the multiphase problem. So if you want a better accuracy then I would suggest you to go for multiphase model.

      while creating the geometry if you will make all the parts into a single part it will result in a conformal meshing ,if you will keep each part separate then it will result in a nonconformal mesh.

      yes, you can change the cell size, using the local mesh approach.

    Sir.. I am a final year undergraduate Faculty of engineering university of peradeniya. I'm doing a research call "Impact of tsunami generated objects on coastal structures using Computational Fluid Dynamics".Therefore I developed a Tsunami like wave using Ansys Fluent (below i attached Geometry of the flume and Tsunami like wave) now i struggled in how to floating a object (like box shape or disc shape) on the wave and how to hit with any structure (basically a wooden pannal)

    Can i know why in initialization part you compute from the inlet? Is there any different compare to others?

      You can choose any option that's not an issue. As flow generally starts from inlet and mesh is more refined in the inlet that's why I had selected inlet.

    Btw.you are doing homogeneous modeling. But the nanofluid is heterogeneous entity.
