    Beneficial and simple! Thanks!

Thank you for the video. However, for the boundary conditions of the wall why you put free stream temperature=300 and Heat transfer coefficient=10??

thanks for the video ! why the fluent creates additional walls to the interfaces, such as non overlaping and shadow wall ?

can you plz explain how to do analysis of a cooling plate with serpentine flow field, in my problem temperature rise in the fluid is not occuring ( i.e., heat transfer between solid and fluid is not happening)

Hi, what if I want to add an energy source term to let's say the copper square? I don't know why but the temperature doesn't change. Thanks

Is it possible to add an inlet with air as the fluid, to see how much heat the air transfers from a wall with a high temperature? If so, how?

Thanks for your kind helping movie. But I have a problem when I tried making mesh interfaces. Your interfaces are done at the same time with three boundary conditions: aluminum, copper, steel. But when I mimic yours, I get warning which comments “ cannot pair 1 of the selected zones. For periodic or periodic repeat mesh interfaces, please use Manual Create to set up.” How can I do in this step?

    Hi there
I am going to simulate a fire in tunnel by using fluent ansys and I have question
about the density of air inside the tunnel how should i define it is it incompressible ideal gas or ideal gas
    the problem is transient
    grateful
    yousef

Awesome tutorial. One question though. This case is for wall connected in series. If walls are connected in combination of parallel and series, will approach remain same or some changes in design modeler will be required at interfaces.

Do I need inflation layers between two solids for better heat transfer calculation?

      It is not necessary.

At the boundary between the bodies in this solution there is instantaneous heat transfer, which is impossible in reality. To calculate heat transfer between solids, it is necessary to introduce a heat transfer coefficient [Wm-2K-1], which depends on the surface roughness, material, temperature, but can be found in the literature. The question is where to enter this coefficient in Ansys Fluent. The only coefficient that has the same dimension is convection on the wall, and this is completely different.

Sir, i would like to know how to keep the mesh display (outline) during a particle animation. The mesh doesn't appear on the animation despite ticking the box. Only the particles. Thanks!

you probably dont give a shit but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream all of the new series on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my girlfriend for the last couple of months xD

@Taylor Harlem Yup, have been using instaflixxer for months myself =)

thanks a lot for your tutorials, but wouldn't be better if we have used a thermal solver rather than fluent for such a problem?

This tutorial was done at the request of a subscriber. Of course you can use the thermal solver and then compare the results.
