  • There is no option in ANSYS Design Modeller to create a spiral geometry. We had received many requests from our subscribers regarding these difficulties they are facing, keep this in mind we had created this tutorial. In this tutorial, you would be able to create the Spiral Geometry in ANSYS Itself without the help of any other CAD Software.

    A Spiral Coiled Copper Tube is inside the concrete block. The Coil temperature is 340K. There is convective heat transfer from concrete block upper and side surfaces. The Temperature distribution on this test specimen has been found out.
    WHAT TO LEARN FROM THIS TUTORIAL?
    - Creation of Spiral Geometry in ANSYS.
    - Creating of Geometry in ANSYS SpaceClaim.
    - Creation of curves in ANSYS Using equations.
    - Use of Sweep Tool in ANSYS.

    Thanks Ansys-Tutor team! Does anyone know whether 2022R1 can create a spiral geometry? Thanks Flo

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes , spiral geometry can be done in any version, only you need to select the proper geometry creation tool among the two. that is ANSYS Design Modeller.

    I am using R2021 student version and I am unable to insert an Archimedes Spiral. There are only surface options, not lines. What do I do??

    What is Via system coupling?
    I can't understand the bc

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The main purpose of this BC is, you can use the external thermal load from other softwares like steady state thermal into it. But at the same time it can also be used as a conductive wall in absense of the coupling workbench software.

    can i drawing spiral tube in ansys version 14.5

    • @AnsysTutor
      @AnsysTutor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      check if the spaceclaim software is there or not , if not then here is a way to do that,: create the geometry in Higher version and only import the cad file into ANSYS 14.5 , or simply do all the process in Higher Version of ANSYS ,you can download for free from ANSYS official website.
