Have been using CVT since 2018 and it's a good car. I still enjoy the drive. I'm ready to upgrade to duster again provided if Renault gives a complete revamp interior and exterior. Saw designs from Dacia 🔥. Hope they release it in India..🤞

I would have bought a Duster AWD, but the horror stories about Renault service stopped me. Has the situation improved?
I now own a Maruti Suzuki S-Cross 1.6 and am quite happy, but I always wonder how things could have been different.
Well, Renault’s service has improved with the launch of the Kwid and Triber. But, it still isn't on par with some of its established rivals. Hopefully, with the launch of the Kiger Compact SUV, things will improve further. Thank you 😊

Vw 1.5 is leaps and bound ahead. But it isnt available and has premium price tag due to a cbu unit

Kya car me ac on karne se rmp bardta hai or kitna high hota hai. Mere pass Renault Triber rxl hai ac on karne par 1000rpm se 1500rpm tak ho jata hai or noise , vibration bhi hota hai or kitna hona chahiye rpm ac on karne par chalte or khadi gadi me... Bataye 🙏
With current competition , I do not think only updating new engine would be good, it's a high time when duster must do work on its platform and features too. Duster looks so dated now and it lacks some basic feature like rear AC vents!! Even the new engine it's not that quick what people would expect with respect to kind of power it is showing on paper. This product has so much potential but due lack for updates it's losing the market share.
We totally agree with your analysis. The Duster, as a product, has lots of potential, but Renault missed the bus by being stuck with the same design and interiors since its launch. Hopefully, Renault has announced it will bring the third-generation Duster in India. Thank you 😊

I would chose the Duster.
Renault Duster safety rating is poor 3 start and body shell is reported as unstable that is worry. Nissan is claiming for stable body. Please guide
Nissan is more plaint with traction control and esp at a similar price tag. Also scored 4 on euro ncap not sure if it's the same car or have some tweak on it . But otherwise duster is best if eise quality is your choice

I'm looking for a new compact SUV in the 13-14 lakh range and I've shortlisted Kia seltos HTK+ and Duster 1.3 l turbo ZX since they seem to fall within the same range. In terms of cabin features Duster seems to offer all that Seltos offers plus comes with turbo engine. So I'm inclined toward Duster. I'd really appreciate it if you could weigh in with your thoughts
I too considered these options (in fact seltos htx). Considering the engine type, power, price and the features (the minimum ones I was looking for) opted duster turbo

True. Renault should have brought the second-generation Duster in India, which is already on sale in Europe. Hope they bring the next-gen Renault Duster to India.
The way they are treating their most selling vehicle duster with no interior update till now from its launch, I think may be renault is planning to exit Indian market, it's become more evident as their other vehicles are also not doing great here.
@@ajit26aug Renault will be launching the next generation Duster in India. This one is a stop-gap arrangement. Also, Renault isn't expected to exit India as cars like the Kwid and Triber have found quite a few takers and are a good success story for the company. Thank you 😊

I don't know who would particularly buy a brown coloured car , I mean it looks so odd and to say that i own a brown colour car is so hideous and uncomfortable, for me in duster its the blue colour which looks magnificent..

I personally think there is nothing wrong or uncomfortable in brown colour.. I moreover prefer Brown than blue .. It looks more Macho in brown than in blue or any other colour for that matter (For my eyes atleast)

@@ravisamani123 interior quality is very bad ...and service is also not upto the mark ...and when I purchased duster the price was 14lacs in 2014...overpriced ..the the good thing abt the car is driving pleasure is good ...

@@CarWale overall the service has been poor ..incase of accident or flood situation once we claim the insurance ...the service from renault was not upto the mark ...and they take lot of time ..and they don't revert ...service station is also very far ...they have only one or two in Mumbai ....no pick and drop facility ....and these guys are least bothered....driving wise the car is good but interior quality is pathetic ...cheap plastic which makes noise ...I have the top variant ...I spent 14lacs on duster 2014 model...14lacs is too much for such an horrible interior quality ...

Hi Charuchandra, the Duster Turbo makes 150bhp and 254Nm. The power figures are best in segment, and it show in the on-road performance as well. Sure, it doesn't get an AWD at the moment, but none of its competitors get it either. Thank you 😊
