Don't Just Say It, Do It. It Really Works.

We intend to enjoy the journey in this new life we’re building on the smallholding, not rush through it, so that means changing the way we do things. We try to find a solution that means we can slow things down, enjoy the day, and worry less about where we are going and more about where we are
Our second day of the tree planting challenge on our Off Grid and Forgotten Homestead Continues. Until, we realise that we need to take a different approach. The old mindset we'd left behind when we escaped the rat race a few years ago came back.
Receiving 1000s of trees is amazing and we are so grateful. However, without realising it's triggered out old ways of thinking. It makes us fall back into our old habits of our past city life where it’s all about getting to the end point as quickly as possible, via the most efficient route. Which removes the enjoyment of the experience..
